Part Fifteen- Christmas Day

It's Christmas morning and the air is cold today but it was filled with joy and love. When I woke the thoughts of everything that had happened yesterday flooded my mind and I couldn't help but smile to myself. Draco was still asleep so I decided to wake him up. "Good morning my love. Happy Christmas!" I kissed his jaw line. "Someone's giddy this morning." He said sleepily. "Well it's Christmas and I get to spend it with you!" "I am a pretty great present aren't I." "Get over yourself Malfoy." Draco laughed before replying "Don't act like I'm not right, and Happy Christmas darling." He said kissing me softly. We laid intertwined with each other for half an hour before saying anything else. "We have to get ready to go so we're not late." Draco said, kissing my head. I was actually nervous for once and it was over something as stupid as staying at the Malfoy manor. "Draco..." "hm" "I'm nervous" I said shyly. "Listen to me, you have no reason to be nervous. I'm not going to let anything happen to you and you just have to ignore my fathers words, he's cruel to everyone but I won't let him do anything to you love. And plus my mother is quite excited to see you again." He pulled me closer. "And your not going to leave me?" "Not in your wildest dreams."

We got up eventually to get stuff packed and ready to leave. Draco had went back to his dorm to get a few other things as well. I needed to run to Emily's dorm to get Draco's Christmas presents since I gave them to her so Draco wouldn't find them in my room while he was being nosey. I pulled on and emerald green crop top with matching high waisted pants and a thick white sweater with a pair of white and gold tennis shoes. After that I headed to Emily's dorm. Emily was gone for the holiday with her parents but I figured she would leave the presents with Cedric so no one in her dorm found them. I got to the Hufflepuff dorms and knocked on Cedric's door. Zacharias Smith opened the door, he was the other captain on the Hufflepuff team. Him and Draco didn't get along but I think that's just competitive manor. "Ah young Diggory. I was just coming to give you a letter from Cedric." "A letter from Cedric? Why did he write me a letter and have you give it to me?" I questioned. He just shrugged and handed me the letter.
To Kaitlyn, I'm sorry that I couldn't tell you this in person but I was running late this morning so I asked Zach to give you this. Emily asked me to come over to have Christmas lunch with them but I'll be back by tonight. I figured you would go with Draco but I assume you need your presents. Draco's three are in my closet on the left side, bottom shelf. Emily and I got you something as well and it's in the same place. Happy Christmas sis, and have a good day. Love, Cedric
Emily never told me that she was going yo have Cedric go home with her but I guess it didn't matter that much. "Um, okay Zacharias can I come in and grab something from Cedric's closet?" "Sure come in." "Do you boys ever clean?" "Not unless we need to. Why does it not meet your new Malfoy standards?" "No, actually it doesn't meet my Kaitlyn Diggory standards." "Right, Beauxbatons" I grabbed the four boxes from Cedric closet and headed to the door. "Thank you Smith." "Whatever you need Diggory. Oh and say hi to Malfoy for me." He laughed. "I think I'll pass on that one." I said closing the door. I was surprised that Cedric had gotten me a gift but let's be real, it was probably Emily's idea. Though now I needed to get them something; I would probably just get them something for quidditch. I was interested to see what they got me anyways.

I got back to my room and slid all four boxes into my trunk and locked it. My chest was tight with nerves but I just shook it away for now. "Ready to go?" Draco asked while he came in a sat him trunk down by the door. "As ready as I can be." I said, hesitantly. He grabbed the sides of my face and lifted my face to look up at him and kissed my lips softly, enough to tell me I'll be okay. "I'll get your trunk." Draco said pulling away. I craved his lips more and more every second we were together. He was like an addiction that I just couldn't
stop whether I wanted to or not. "We'll go by portkey, mother set one up right outside the gates of Hogwarts and she'll be expecting our arrival at the house." "Draco you seem on edge what's wrong?" "I just don't want my father to say anything bad to you. I mean he doesn't even know you and he already decides to be vile. I just don't want him to mess up my chance with being with you for as long as possible, over a stupid comment he pulls out of his ass just because he feels like it." "Draco Lucius Malfoy, your father isn't going to change my views on you. And anything he says is just empty words, they mean nothing to me." "God how did I end up with someone so perfect as you?" "I ask myself the same question." I smiled to him.
