The Diary's of Him and I

Part Twenty Three- The Third Task.

5 am is way too early for me, but here I am. I have to get dressed, do my makeup, grab breakfast, wake Draco up, and meet up with Cedric so we can meet with our father. 

I have a feeling it's going to be a very long day but it will all be worth it in the end. 

I slid out of bed silently and went into the bathroom. My hair was a hot mess so now I have to do that too. I pulled out my curling and did a few very loose curls, it was still cute but it only took about 10 minutes which was good for as long as my hair is.

I pulled out my makeup bag and did some light makeup. I didn't need makeup but it's just fun to do and boost my confidence even more. I did a wing using eyeshadow so it wasn't as bold but you could still see it, then I put a tinted moisturizer on and lip gloss, and I was done. 

Draco thankfully was still asleep, so I finished getting ready. I went into my closet and grabbed my outfit: A black high-waisted skirt, long sleeve emerald crop top, and thigh-high boots with a heel. This outfit did my waist much justice. I put in a pair of black earrings and a snake ring that I bought yesterday as well. I forgot to buy a necklace but it was probably for the best because I could wear the Malfoy necklace Draco bought me since I wear it every day anyway. I grabbed Dracos cologne and sprayed my neck, wrist, and I patted it behind my ears. 

I was going to wake Draco up after I went to eat breakfast but then I would have to walk all the way back to Slytherin house before walking to Hufflepuff dorms which is on the other side of the school, so I decided to wake him now. 

I sat on the side of the bed and ran my hand through his blonde hair. He groaned and shifted which made me feel bad because it was so early but if I didn't wake him he would never get up. "Goodmorning love. I'm sorry it's so early but I'm heading out and I won't see you till after the tournament starts." I kissed his cheek. "Can I go with you?" His comment makes me freeze for a second. If he were to go with me that means he would meet my father before the tournament started. I wasn't embarrassed of Draco, it was actually the opposite. My father has never cared much for me but he always seems to judge and with him knowing Lucius, I feel he's going to judge Draco. I mean it will happen eventually, right? Maybe today would be better because my father would be in a good mood. "Uh, yeah you can but you need to be ready in 10 minutes or meet me in the great hall." I said looking at the time. He sat up and rubbed his eyes, "I'll get dressed real quick but don't wait on me darling, I'll meet you down there." I hugged him tightly as he kissed my temple. I grabbed my wand and was about to leave when I thought to grab my camera, I picked it up and walked out of my room closing the door quietly behind me. 

"You got this Kaitlyn." I whispered to myself. I had to stay strong today no matter how stressful things got. I knew Emily would be a stress case so it's good that she's sitting with ginny today or she would end up stressing me out. 

Walking down to the great hall there were few people out and the ones that were, all were from the other schools. When I got into the great hall I saw Fleur eating. I walked over to her and sat down, laying a hand on her shoulder. "Bonjour Kaitlyn, how are you this morning?" She hugged me. "Bonjour Fleur, I'm pretty good but I should be asking you how you're doing this morning." "I'm well, though it's nerve-racking with it being the last task and all. I mean everything I've worked too, it's finally here and then it will all be over." She was right, they have all worked so hard to get to this moment, and now they're tested one last time and it could change their lives forever. "Bonjour Fleur, comment vas-tu ce matin? (Good morning Fleur, how are you this morning?)" Draco's voice appeared from behind me and a hand ran down my arm. "Bonjour Drago! Je suis prêt à ce que la tâche soit terminée, mais je vais bien. (Good morning Draco! I'm ready for the task to be over, but I'm well.)" Fleur said to him. I looked up and noticed his hair was left wavy. "Oh my gosh, you left your hair natural!" I said a bit louder than I intended. "Yes, I've heard you liked it that way." "I do." "Please Draco, come sit with us." Fleur said, motioning next to me.
