Music for the Chapter: Aarambh by Piyush Mishra from Gulaal
Guru Atri got out of his meditation suddenly.
"We need to get back to Gurukul. There is a large attack in Gurukul." Guruwar told me.
Three of us returned to Gurukul through a portal. When I reached there, I saw several asuras, daityas, danavas and asuras in Gurukul. The devansh were fighting them but were severely outnumbered. They didn't even have time to wear armours.
I pulled out my bow and shot arrows at the enemy. I closed my eyes, letting my inner Kali flow. I let that crackling energy flow through me. It caught on the weakest spots of all of the enemy. I focused my Chandrahasa there and cut through them.
Blood spilt over me. My inner Kali relished at the blood of the enemy spilt. Jumping over them and hacking off the head.
The battleground was Kali's playground. My inner Kali wouldn't allow the realization of how much I was injured. Chandrahasa got more and more violent as the battle went on further. One of the Devansh passed me a spear. They threw it ahead and it pierced through one of the asura commanders through the chest.
My hair started getting free from the braids. My eyes turned red. When I stared into the enemy's eyes, the fear poured into them. One of the things I learnt that I could do as Kali's ansh is intimidation. The element of fear that comes through Kali could be used by me to subdue the enemy. Another of Kali's abilities was energy absorption. Maa does it on a universal level while I can do it on a smaller level. I could absorb energy from an already existing form or person. Or generate energy that is from my source and amplify it to the highest degree. Kali Upasana allowed me to use those powers. I cannot do the absolute absorption like Maa does but could do one-hundredth out of her ability. My ability was limited to touch. I can only absorb it through though.
I grabbed one of the daityas and drained their energy and he fell limp. As several of them fell down, completely drained of energy, they began to realize to stay away from my touch. I twirled my sword and fought them.
Indranshas commanding lightning. Agneyanshas setting out a fire. Several devansh using their powers and fighting the asuras.
Yet, I still realized that we were outnumbered. I went up to Jiya di.
"Jiya di, we may not be able to hold them out for longer. I think it would be wise to get the younger devansh and the injured devansh out of here first and then get out of here soon."
"Yeah, but is there another way out?"
"Adi's cabin has a secret passage made from Gurukul to outside. It is on the other side so I'm pretty sure we can get away from them. We can try and ask Parvat Raj to help us. He knows these mountains, so he can tell us which way to go ahead."
"Okay. You go ahead and open the passage and get them all out."
"Di, Harsh knows it so I'll get Harsh to go ahead first and lead them out. The ten best of devansh here in Gurukul and stand the last till all the devansh have evacuated Gurukul."
