The rakshasas stood by the boundary of the Swarga. The boundary gates of Swarga. The general areas of Swarga were all closed down. All the people staying in the Swarga given warnings not to exit their homes until the specific notice came.
The swords and arrows sharpened. Everyone set ready for the battle.
Swarga has several security fortifications. All of them with specific elements. One of air, one of fire, one of weapons, one of water, one of boiling oil and many others. To be honest, breaking through them is not an easy task. It would take a lot of skill to get past it. Asuras, no doubt, are quite some warriors seeing how they were breaking down the fortifications.
One of the banners fell down.
"They have breached the barrier gates." Indra signalled to the towers and they gave out signals. Agneyas shooting fire arrows. Agni Dev's powerful attacks were eating up the enemy. Almost like forest fires. Agni Dev was one of Swarga's commanders. I saw the scene from the top of the palace. The tallest place in the entire Swarga. Indra's tower. "Get Airavat ready for battle." He ordered his attendants. They quickly dashed off to inform the mahawat.
"Let me go ahead and manage." I offered. He nodded a no.
"Battles are not won through pure strength. They are won through strategies. The majority of the strategies of asuras are made by Shukracharya. His strategic warfare is extremely efficient. When facing that we have to be very careful." He explained. "I know when to send you. Till then stay put and just watch."
"Watch my comrades die?"
"It is a part of the battle, Sonakshi. You have to get your heart steeled."
"That is a difficult part, Devraj. I'm a human."
He gave me a look. "High time for you to realize that you have to become a devansh from a human. Battle means you know today could be the last day of your life."
Surya Dev arrived at the portals and I saw Omkara at the front line. His stallion running in the air. He was in total battle gear. Chainmail, armour, the crown on his head. Surya Dev joined next to Indra Dev. Omkara jumps right into battle. Left and right slashing through the enemy. Killing the rakshasas like they were vegetables.
From another portal, Varuna Dev arrived, his son right ahead, joining Omkara in the battle. One by one all the Devas arrived at the portals, standing next to Indra Dev while the Devakumaras were already engaging in battle.
A large blast occurred at the second gates, breaking through them. I could see the use of varunastra to put out the fire attack from Agni dev. I then sensed Devansh among the enemy. Several devansh in the armours of asuras. More than a hundred.
"How did he even get devansh to follow him?" I asked.
"It happens at times. Kaliyug and Virat's ability to warp their minds." Indra dev answered.
