Virat sat by his throne and burst into laughter. Diti just grinned with him.

"Taught them a good lesson, brother. Now, how will Vishnu stand? You turned his own child against him. You managed to tune her against her own sister. Vishnusuta against Shivanshika." Aakram praised his brother.

Virat laughed. The whole room rang with his laughter.

"Let me see Vishnu use the same Sudarshan Chakra against his own child. Let me see how he makes up with his dearest Sri after killing the only child born from her womb." Virat taunted.

"You have done an unforgivable thing, Virat." Maharishi Kashyap appeared before them.

Diti stood up and touched his feet. "Welcome, swami." She said.

"I was hoping that at least your long tapasya will help you realize where you are going wrong, Diti. Instead of correcting him, you are simply pushing him further into the pit."

"And for once I thought that you will sympathize with the children that we lost."

"I pity them, Diti, but I cannot agree with their actions. Their actions have brought their end. You can't defy dharma, cause terrible damage and then expect him to sit watching because you are their mother or I am their father. You have turned a daughter against her father. Nothing is more shameful than that. Breaking away a house because you can't protect yours."

"Ohh..." Diti laughed mockingly. "So, he can build his home from the bricks that he broke from my home but I can't throw stones in his house made of glass?"

"A home that you build over hatred, Diti? Which house will survive the poison of hatred? You cannot blossom love in a place where hatred is the key element. You turned a home created from love into a burning ground. You know too well why your sons were killed, Diti. None of them were too noble. Everyone has to reap what they sow. They sow destruction and they will have to reap that. The karma doesn't melt away this easily. One has to face them. Your karma brings you to face such unending suffering. Not even once do you feel remorse for the actions you caused. How will you achieve peace when you thrive on hate?"

"I know what I have done so I request you not to speak to my mother in this manner," Virat warned.

"You have become too blind in your strength. The one who gave you this power will also know how to take it away from you. It isn't for no reason that a child of Trideva is born. It is never good for anyone to exceed their own chances of redemption and walk the path which causes them to have a terrible ending."

"I also know how to correct it. And I have."

Maharishi Kashyap sighed. It was a worthless talk with Virat. He wouldn't even try to understand. He left worried for his son. The path he has walked has been taken by several of his brother all they achieved was death.

Virat watched his father walk away. Anger coursed through him. Like always his father had only spoken badly of them. For him, it seemed that everything they did was despicable and everything Aditi and her sons is acceptable.

He was going to show Indra who he was but now, a tiny problem arose. The last conversation that Alaknanda had with Shukracharya.

"Alaknanda seems to have influenced Shukracharya a lot to turn him. It has become eminent that we get him out of our way. Now that he is influenced by Alaknanda, he will do her bidding. No longer is he loyal to us." Virat said and signaled to Aakram.

Aakram bowed down to Virat. "I understood your signal."

The conversation that Alaknanda had about his weakness. There was another issue. Four people knew about a part of his boon. Alaknanda, Shukracharya, Alakshmi and Nandini. Virat saw no threat from Nandini because he could easily use his own maya to erase the memory out of her mind.

Diti knew that the greatest threat was from Alaknanda and Sonakshi. She had heard of the Shivasuta from the soldiers who survived the battlefield. Almost killed Aakram. Born out of Gauri's own womb. Shiva and Kali's own child.

Then there was Alaknanda. Virat's maya could work on anyone at the boon of Mahamaya but could play on Alaknanda. The child of Vishnu and once fed by Mahamaya herself when the girl was just a baby. She was naturally able to control maya. Her courage was surely a sign of her blood. Mahalakshmi's child would be nothing if not headstrong in reaching her goal.

"Once we handle Shukracharya, we will kill Alaknanda and capture Alakshmi. That would get us back on track." Virat told his mother.

Diti nodded a no. "You tried to kill her once but failed. She returned twice of what she was before. Do you think this time you will get to her that easy? No. She was just a budding child brought up by my father when you killed her. Now? Now, she is Vishnusuta born in the clan of Bhargavas. That is the difference. She is not going down from here. Once a Bhargava has made up their mind about their goal, you cannot stop them. I know my sister. If she is my sister Khyati's grandchild, you cannot stop her that easily."

"You're saying I cannot destroy her? Maa, she is just a mortal child."

"This isn't just a mortal child, Virat. The plant will only be what is the property of the seed. The plant cannot be something that the seed isn't. She is born from that imperishable seed. In the same manner, there is another mortal child born from a similar imperishable seed. Sonakshi. The moment these two stand together, it is Shiva Keshava. No one can stand in the opposing force when it is Rama and Hanuman. Vishnu and Rudra together. No one, not even you, can stand Shiva and Keshava who are on the same side. It is bound to bring a doom we cannot handle. If the seeds are such, how will the growing seedling be any different? Leave Shiva and Keshava's ansha together and they will spin up your mrityu tantra. Alaknanda knows some bits of your boon out of your foolishness. As long as it is limited to her, we have hope. When it gets to Sonakshi, there is nothing we can do but battle with all our strength and hope they do not find out the rest."

"So, if we keep them apart, it will work?"

"It isn't keeping them apart. It is leaving them apart. That is why I asked you to make a deal with Shukracharya about using Alaknanda in the battle against Devas. Sonakshi is loyal to the devas. Indra is in our capture. Devas have seen Alaknanda bringing Indra to us. Devas will not allow Alaknanda to live after this betrayal."
