Music for the Chapter: Meherbaaniya by Sonu Nigam from Veer
She was no different than me. My inner Kali was my own self. She just sat in a meditative pose before me as I looked at her.
I let the power flow through me, putting my trust in her that she will not go chaotic. My vision changed. Almost going black, white and red.
I felt a bit of anxiety but then I felt a hand holding mine.
"It is alright, Sonakshi. You are fine. You will not break into chaos. You know how to control yourself." Sandheya stood next to me.
She opened her eyes and finally looked at me. Or through me. She was calm right now. I could tell that. Her expression had it. Even with her flying hair, skin black as night, red eyes and the skull garland, she seemed calm.
The Kali's vision made it so easy to notice where all he was weak and vulnerable. I could sense his beating heart and his lungs breathing air. He might be immortal but not really invulnerable. I looked around the place. Every walking humans and an odd ticking sense coming from thing. Their time clock was ticking. Almost showing how close they were to death and how their karmas influenced them.
This was a little scary and a little fascinating.
I had begun to do Kali upasana and it had several rules to be followed. The upasana is what brings this ability.
Kali is the element of time. She's the beginning and the end. She is the controller and deliverer of karma. As the upasana clicked in, I could use those powers. Surely, I had way up to go but for now I could do with this.
I looked around to sense if there was a stone which wasn't from Earth.
"Okay, listen, how does the sense show you presence of specific elements which are not from earth." He asked.
Somehow, my mind could tell me that far away there are few stones and could sense the distance between me and them and the direction. It gave off powerful auras. I could tell that much.
I felt one very strong aura. Surely it didn't belong from earth because of it such powerful aura.
"Downwards to the south-east, around 2,363 km." I pointed to one of them.
"Umm... no. That's the Narayanagiri."
"A whole mountain??" I asked shocked.
"Yes. Well, the entire mountain was brought from Vaikuntha. Anyway, that isn't it. Next."
I was actually surprised. An entire mountain brought from Vaikuntha? But why??
"Further down in the south east there is another one. Around 2,020 km."
"No... That would be Jyotirling, Mallikarjuna."
"How can you accurately say it?"
"Because I've been in all the places. The 108 divya desam, the 51 shakti peeth and 12 jyotirlingas. I've been to them all, so I know. Also, the way we are taught, any child who learns from Devguru Brihaspati would have them memorized like the back of their own hand."
