The dharma stambh at the entrance had a new thread tied. A locket and the ring hanging from it. I touched it and looked at it. I remembered the day Adi wore the ring. The smile on her face as she remembered her mother.

The first person who came up to me was Jiya di.

"I hope you're fine now." She asked me, putting a hand on my shoulder. It was a whole new feeling when I returned to Gurukul again. Like I had come home. The air of Gurukul was such. The scent of herbs and shrubs that were grown for the sake of the medicines spread around the place.

"Sona...." I saw Harsh. I ran towards him and hugged him. He hugged me, "I missed you."

"So did I." I almost thought that I would cry. I looked at Harsh. He seemed a bit changed. I didn't know what changed but something changed. We both had changed. I saw a scar on his neck and arms.

"I see you're training harder." I commented. He chuckled.

"Yes. Sure have tuned into a warrior but my love is still books and learning." He answered. I smiled. Of course, Harsh had grown up to understand that sometimes violence was needed. We cannot lead a life based on the principles of Ahima alone.

As Guru Atri always says, Ahimsa paramo dharm, dharma himsa tathaiva cha. Non-violence is the greatest dharma but violence for the sake of dharma is more than that.

With Harsh was the daitya that Adi had sent.

"This is Raj. Raj, I'm sure you already know her." Harsh introduced.

"H...Hello." He greeted timidly. I smiled at him.

"I hope you are doing fine here. Mama told me that Maharishi Vashista had taken you as a student." I greeted him. Noting his hesitance, I took a deep breath and walked to him, "We didn't start off well, so I hope we can start again. This time in a better way."

He chuckled. "I'm Raj. Actually, my real name is Kurupa but Alaknanda insisted that she has changed it to Raj and that is what I will have to go by."

I laughed at that. It was so specific to Adi. Only she can declare a name change to be official without any ceremonies. "Typical Adi stuff. I'm Sonakshi Mantri." I introduced myself.

"Well, subah ka bhola shaam ko ghar laut ayaa. Finally, Sonakshi has given up her adamant decision to give up." Guru Parshuram came ahead. I walked to him and touched his feet. He put his hand on my head and blessed me. "Vijayi bhava."

He pulled me up and hugged me. "Ohoooo...." A few boys commented. Guru Parshuram turned around to give a look and they scattered behind a tree. He was one of Adi's friends. "I... I meant to say that... it is a rare sight na... I mean... you... showing so much affection..." He explained from behind the tree.
