There is only one maatra difference between Karm and Karma

There is only one maatra difference between Karm and Karma. Only a short time span between your Karm and the Karma which follows you.

You know Newton's Third Law of Motion. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction. That is the law of Karma too. Every Karm has a Karma coming from the opposite side in equal force. When you do a good thing, the coming force is good. When you do wrong, the force coming from the opposite side is also wrong.

I had begun to wonder about what is actually making me suffer like this.

I could feel the dried blood of some daityas on me, the dirt accumulated over me. The stench of dead bodies and waste. The stench of rotting corpses of food the rakshasas eat. The sound of them eating flesh. The sound of daityas bringing the pisachas food. I know what their food is. The sound of it makes my spine cold.

This place is colder than Nainital in winter. I don't even remember the colour of the skirt and top I had worn when I was captured. All I know is that the skirt is short. My legs feel cold. I feel dirty. Blood, dirt and the stench coming from me.

All I know is darkness. I haven't heard a single sound that calms my heart. Even my dagger is extremely dirty by now. I have a few bones lying near me. Bones of the creature that the rakshasas ate.

Every time I have said Dad's name, the reaction has been so violent that I have stopped taking the name. I have heard the screams of a human being eaten alive by Pisachas. The sound of Hari is always followed by the large painful cry of a human shouting for help and save. I have injured my hands and legs in desperate attempts to save them. There is nothing to comfort. I have lost count on how many times I have had a panic attack and injured myself to take away my mind from the sound ringing in my ears.

Is it day? Is it night? How many days has it been since I've been here? Though, it feels like forever.

I was close to giving up. The rakshasi who has earlier come here to save me is all bones by now.

All the pisacha, rakshasas, and daityas here have fallen asleep.

A sound reaches my ears, suddenly waking me up from the exhaustive state which was close to making me unconscious. Veena. It was definitely someone playing Veena. I have never heard it before. The sound of bells with it.

For the first time in a long time, I stood up. I tried to move towards the sound. Desperately trying to heard something. The faint sound of a beautiful male voice was audible. Slowly, I began to heard some words out the mumble of sounds.

Kanthiyate Kaustubhe

Someone was singing about that. Wait...

I struggled desperately to free myself from the chains. The sound of a song. Quite definitely about Narayana.
