Eren groaned, looking around to gather his surroundings. The last thing he remembered was talking to Hange about an experiment or something the two would be able to conduct if Levi allowed it when a blinding flash overtook his vision and now he was here, wherever here was. Hearing another groan, the brunette looked behind him to see three other people that he knew: Levi, Hange, and Erwin. Levi and Hange, however, looked a lot different than when he last saw them. Was that... Did Hange have a blind eye?!

"Where are we?" Erwin asked after the four had gotten up and dusted themselves off. Eren glanced down and noticed how his outfit was slightly different. No longer did he have the green shirt and the black jacket. Now he had a white shirt on with black skinny jeans, red trainers, a red jacket, and a black cap.

"I'm not sure," Levi replied, glancing at Eren sceptically. Eren tilted his head slightly in curiosity, attempting to catch his cap which started to fall off. "I do have a question, however. What time are all of you from?" Levi asked as he turned to look at Erwin and Hange, keeping a close eye on Eren who was trying to catch his cap in the wind.

Erwin chuckled, plucking it from the air and putting it back on Eren's head. "I'm from a week or so after Eren's first expedition. And I must say, Eren, you're doing a lot better now than when I saw you last week." Erwin said, chuckling as Eren blushed form embarrassment.

"And you, Eren?" Hange asked, though she seemed quite... off. Why were Hange and Levi looking at him like that? Did they not trust him? Did he do something wrong? Oh god, he hoped he didn't screw something up. That would give the people a reason to get him killed.

"Eren? Hey, Eren, calm down." Erwin's gentle voice broke through his inner turmoil. Eren blinked a couple of times, the tears retreating and hiding away like he wanted to in that moment. "What happened?"

"I... I don't know. But, to answer your question, Hange-san, I come from the same time as Commander." Eren replied, not daring to look either Hange or Levi in the eyes knowing that if he did he would only see disappointment and caution which hurt, it really did. He always thought that the three of them were close; Hange was like his mother and Levi was like an older brother to him. So why were they so cautious around him?

The two glanced at each other, realizing immediately why Eren wasn't looking at them and why the kid almost had a panic attack. It was because of them. They were treating him with caution, something he wouldn't entirely understand the reason for.

"Brat," Levi murmured as the two walked side-by-side. Levi's heart broke a little when he noticed how the kid tensed up a bit and didn't dare look at him. Sighing, the ravenette gently wrapped an arm around the younger male's shoulders as they walked. "Look, Hange and me are from a much later time. Our relationship with you becomes a little strained, to say the least. But now that we know what time you're from, we'll treat you like we normally would. Okay?" All Eren did was nod, he didn't dare say a word. If the government were trying to kill him, he best watch what he says and to who.

Soon the four found their way to a café that was just on the outskirts of the woods they were in. Entering, they (namely Erwin, Levi and Hange) were out of luck when they realised it was a German café. Eren, however, was ecstatic though nervous to show that he can talk German to the other three who didn't know. Would he be judged? Lord he hoped not.

"Hallo!" the waitress behind the counter greeted. "Nehmen Sie Platz und ich bin gleich bei lhnen."

Eren smiled, "Danke, Ma'am." The boy thanked before leading the other three to a table. When they sat down, the trio looked at Eren in shock. "W-What?"
