"Alright Eren! I think I've got it now, drink this!" Hange exclaimed excitedly, handing the sixteen-year-old titan shifter a glass vial. Eren drank it, cringing at the terrible test the liquid had. "Well?! How do you feel?!"

"Dizzy," muttered the boy as he leaned against the wall and clutching his head. Hange glanced towards him in concern when he let out a slight groan of pain. "And a bad stomach-ache."

With widened eyes, Hange rushed over to the boy as his eyes rolled into the back of his head. "Eren? Eren!" the scientist exclaimed, trying to shake the boy awake to no avail. Through the panic, the woman failed to notice how the door to her lab area opened. Nor did she notice how Levi entered the room.

"What the hell happened?" Levi snapped, striding towards the duo. Hange froze, heart in her throat. Everyone knew how protective Levi was of Eren, even if the former refused to admit to it. If he found out that she was running an unexpected experiment on the boy, she would be six feet underground before you could say 'Shinsou wo sasageyo'. "What. Happened?"

Gulping, the brunette turned to look at the ravenette. "Well, I wanted to try something and Eren agreed to it! But it didn't exactly go to plan." Hange admitted, glancing away when the man picked up the weak fifteen-year-old boy. "I don't know what's gonna happen to him, but I don't think it's anything bad."

"Hange, the boy's passed out." Snapped the ravenette, holding the boy close to him. "If he doesn't wake up, it's on you. Got it?" Hange gulped and nodded her head, her heart beating rapidly as she followed the brooding male towards a spare room in the castle that they could let Eren rest instead of the room he had in the basement. As the two walked through the halls, many stopped and stared at the captain carrying an unconscious soldier in his arms. Eventually they made it to the spare room, which just so happened to be across from the ravenette's own chambers. Hange quickly opened the door, revealing the plain looking room.

The room held a small double bed pushed against the far-left wall, along with a dark green closet and chest of draws pushed against the far-right wall. Opposite of the door was a desk that was positioned so that whoever sat at the desk would be able to see the grounds surrounding the castle they currently resided in.

Levi headed towards the bed instantly, gently setting the unconscious boy on top of the sheets. Though he didn't want to give fuel to the fire that was the theory of him being protective of the boy, eh didn't really want to leave him alone just in case anything was to happen to him. "When will he wake up?" he asked, leaning against the wall as he turned his focus away from the boy on the bed to where Hange stood guiltily by the door.

"I-I'm not sure," she stuttered, glancing at the boy before looking back towards the ravenette. "It won't be too long! A couple hours at the latest." Levi hummed, sitting on the edge of the bed with his head in his hands. "I'm really sorry."

"Don't apologise to me, apologise to the brat." Was all Levi said, choosing to ignore whatever else Hange said, instead opting to study the 'intricate' design of the floorboards below him. If he was being honest with himself he was worried for the brat he had become so protective of. The man was about to comment on something when a small whimper brought both of their attention back towards the bed where a little lump in the clothing could be seen. "Hange."

"Y-Yes?" the woman stuttered as she moved towards the bed, pulled back the t-shirt, and gulped slightly, looking up at the man who seemed to always be disinterested in everything.
