The Bloom of Friendship

"Guys... Cut it out" he refused to admit it.

"Don't worry, Tadashi, your secret is safe with us" Honey Lemon cheered.

"it's okay to admit it to us" she smiled.

"Yeah" Fred agreed and so did wasabi and Gogo.

Tadashi couldn't help but smile at them and stared back at Mizuki once more

They all just laughed a little then went off to work again. A few minutes later, tadashi slightly frowned.

"But.. What if she doesn't like me?" Tadashi thought for himself then decided to go back to work.

A couple of weeks passed and Tadashi started hanging out with Mizuki more often. they get to know a lot more and that made him happy and so are his friends. They fully support Tadashi and they're glad that they get along much often now.

Mizuki often go to Tadashi's cafe and there they mostly meet and go to the university together almost everyday. Tadashi then realized that Mizuki is trying to invent an AI pet bot for some odd reason. But Tadashi said he would help her with the programming since it should be really serious.

Day by day, and night by night, Mizuki allowed Tadashi to stay in her lab late at night.

"And there you have it. The programming will soon be easy on this one" Tadashi explained.

"thanks Tadashi, so much. You've helped me a lot" Mizuki smiled.

"Well then, it's running late, we should go back to sleep now. You should get back to your lab, too" Mizuki insisted.

"Welp, I'll be going" Tadashi smiled at Mizuki and she waved good night.

Tadashi left and went to his lab and Mizuki went back to sleep.

The next day, tadashi woke up early enough before Mizuki wakes up. He got prepared and waited outside Mizuki's lab. The door opened and there showed Mizuki fully prepared and ready to go. Mizuki was shocked to see Tadashi already waiting for her.

"I was hoping that maybe i could go with you for breakfast" he smiled.

Mizuki smiled and nodded.

"sure, you can go with me. Let's go to your cafe!" She smiled even wider.

"actually... Maybe we can go somewhere else, my treat" he insisted.

Mizuki's smile disappeared and is replaced by a shocked gasp

"o-oh.. You don't need to-"

"I insist"

Tadashi grinned and soon Mizuki just smiled and thanked Tadashi in advance.

They went into a restaurant and there they ordered their breakfast and ate together. They laughed, they shared what were their experiences and more.

As they were done, Tadashi paid for their meals and headed back to the university. As they headed back, they were a little late. They have arrived and they were soon greeted by their friends in the lab. They greeted them back and went back to their own business.

Fred placed an arm around Tadashi's shoulder

"hey, it seems like she's starting to like you" Fred teased.

Tadashi just blushed and smiled at Fred.

"So, how was the date?" Honey Lemon teased.

Tadashi blushed

"well.. I got her out to a restaurant and we had a great time" Tadashi explained, smiling.

"Way to go" Gogo congratulated Tadashi

"Nice" Wasabi added.

Tadashi just smiled at them and stared at Mizuki from a distance

"well, i'll head back to help Mizuki, i'll see you guys later" he grinned.

They all gave him a thumbs up and went to their own lab to work.

Moments later, Tadashi covered Mizuki's eyes with his hands. Mizuki gasped in shock and struggled from him and saw Tadashi laughing when she successfully escaped.

"Tadashi! You scared me" she laughed and Tadashi just laughed at her reaction.

Mizuki just giggled and went back to her work, fixing the parts of her pet. Tadashi then helped her out until night time, as usual.
