A Familiar Face

Tadashi woke up to see Mizuki smiling at him. "Mizuki! I thought i lost you" Tadashi grinned. Mizuki smiled and hugged him "i.... Missed you.." Mizuki replied. "Not seeing a glimpse of you wouldn't make any of my day complete" Tadashi muttered as he hugged Mizuki tighter.

Once they pulled away, Tadashi could see Mizuki frowning at him. "What's wrong?" Tadashi asked, concerned. "Tadashi... I'm afraid...." Mizuki replied. "Afraid of what?" Tadashi asked "what if.... This is all just a dream?" Mizuki stated. Tadashi widened his eyes and looked at Mizuki. Mizuki slowly smiled softly and started fading away. "Mizuki? Mizuki! Stay with me!" Tadashi exclaimed. Mizuki smiled at Tadashi and caressed his cheek "i wish i could...." Mizuki replied then quickly faded away.

Tadashi woke up and quickly sat up from his bed. Tadashi sighed knowing that it was all a dream. "Mizuki.......if only this was just a dream....." Tadashi muttered. Tadashi frowned and got up to get prepared. Tadashi saw a picture of Callaghan and Mizuki near a holy statue representing a memorial. Tadashi looked at the pictures and frowned, realizing that time goes by so fast. He remembered Mizuki's first and last contact. And that made him frown even more. He couldn't think properly and decided to go back to the university. As Tadashi was out of focus, he tried to cross the road without waiting for the red lights. Tadashi got pulled back by a lady and he glanced at her. Tadashi saw the lady, holding a child with her, looking like the same age as Mayu. "Be careful next time." Reminded the lady and as the lights turned red, she crossed the road, holding her child. Tadashi thought that the lady was still young and imagined that she's Mizuki, holding Mayu by her side. Tadashi shook his head and tried to stay in focus then crossed the road.
