Meeting her sibling

Days passed and it was saturday afternoon. Tadashi was working in his lab and was soon called out by Mizuki.

Tadashi turned his gaze at Mizuki and she waved at him as he waved back. Tadashi approached Mizuki and smiled.

"Tadashi, get ready tomorrow morning. Alright?" Mizuki reminded with a grin.

"you got it" Tadashi answered and there, Mizuki nodded with a smile and left to go to her lab.

Saturday night. Mizuki was just laying on her bed and stared at the ceiling. Flashbacks of Tadashi, volunteering to meet her little sister replayed in her head and she wouldn't seem to get over it.

What would Tadashi do? What would Mayu think? These questions went over and over Mizuki's mind and she got a little nervous about it. Mizuki reminded herself to calm down and then she drifted to sleep. Tadashi, on the other hand, seemed to be a bit excited to meet her little sister.

Tadashi thought that he and Mizuki seemed to have a lot in common. They both have a little sibling which they cared about. They both seem to get the same answers on most suggestions and more.

Maybe meeting her little sister wouldn't be so bad. Plus, she could maybe resemble as his little brother, Hiro. But in a girl version. Tadashi thought that he should sleep early and so, he did.

Morning, Tadashi finally woke up early and got prepared. He then packed something from his lab and placed it inside his bag. He left his lab and went to Mizuki's.

He softly knocked on her door and waited patiently outside, swaying his arms. Mizuki slowly opened the door and Tadashi grinned. Mizuki was impressed by Tadashi and she smiled. Mizuki then widely opened the door and went outside her lab as Tadashi took a step backward for her to have way.

Mizuki, of course is always prepared every sunday. She wouldn't miss a single visit to her sister.

"So, are you ready?" Mizuki asked.

"As ready as i will ever be" he grinned and she giggled.

They left the hallway and rode the elevator. They soon left the university and arrived the hospital, the usual time that Mizuki arrives: 8am.

They both entered the hospital and Mizuki showed Tadashi the way towards her little sister's room. The hospital, sure is quite huge and Tadashi somehow forgot some directions since it's like his first time to visit the usual hospital that he went when he was still young to meet his baby brother, Hiro.

Tadashi was familiar with some paths, but some were unfamiliar due to different changes as years have passed. Tadashi and Mizuki then reached the room that leads to Mayu. Mizuki opened the door.

Mayu, as usual, stares at the window, adoring and admiring how it would be fun to be outside once more. Her focus suddenly faded as she heard the creaking sound of the door, being opened only to reveal her one and truly big sister, Mizuki. She plastered a wide grin and an excited eyes as she saw her come in but soon was replaced with a shocked eyes as she saw someone else come in with her.

A man, tall and slender, wears a cap and has dark brown eyes. Mayu was confused and continued staring at the stranger. Mizuki greeted Mayu but she didn't greeted back and continued to stare at Tadashi.

Mizuki then followed her stare only to realize that she was staring at Tadashi.

"Oh! Mayu, he's Tadashi. The one who helped me create your pet" Mizuki mentioned.

Soon, Mayu's emotionless stare was replaced by a cheerful appearance

"Thank you for helping my sister with my pet! She's been a great companion and helps me learn a lot!" She giggled.

Mizuki smiled, knowing that her little sister seemed to be happy and well entertained by her invention. Mizuki gazed at Tadashi and smiled. Tadashi saw her and returned the smile then glanced back at Mayu.

"you're very welcome, Mayu" Tadashi chuckled.

After a couple of minutes, they all had a chat. Mayu, somehow got giggly and hyper. Mizuki was fond to see her little sister happy. Tadashi, enjoyed their accompany and they shared each other's info with Mayu. A few moments later, silence filled the room, they just smiled to one another.

"Tadashi, are you going to be my sister's lover?" Mayu smiled as she asked a question.

Mizuki and Tadashi's eyes widened. Mizuki covered her lips as she giggled, a tint of blush forming on her face. Tadashi, on the other hand stared in shock, not knowing what to say..

"well... I uh......." lost of words, Tadashi coudn't seem to know what phrase to say, so he just stared at the ceiling.

Mizuki knew the awkwardness.

".. I'm gonna go out for a minute or two, gonna buy Mayu some candies. Tadashi, can you please take care of Mayu for me?" Mizuki smiled.

"Yay! Candies!" Mayu exclaimed and nodded.

Tadashi nodded and said

"sure, no problem" he smiled.

Mizuki left the room, leaving Tadashi and Mayu alone.

"So, Tadashi?" Mayu called out.

Tadashi turned his head to face Mayu and hummed in a questionable tone.

"You haven't answered my question yet" Mayu smiled.

"Well... I.. Do like your sister...to be honest..." Tadashi admitted with a blush.

Mayu giggled and looked out on the window. Mayu sighed.

"I wonder how it's like to be outside once more.." Mayu changed the subject as she frowned.

Tadashi looked at Mayu and stared out the window.

"It's been so long since I've ever experienced the outside world" Mayu mentioned.

Tadashi felt bad about Mayu and wanted to help her.

"hey, maybe we can take a stroll in the park?" Tadashi suggested.

Mayu, quickly turned her gaze towards Tadashi with eyes filled with hope and excitement.

"Are you sure?!" Mayu asked fondly. Tadashi nodded.

"yeah, why not?" He grinned.
