Mistake

Night time came and everyone bid their good byes and went home except for Tadashi. He stayed with Mizuki in her lab until 11pm.

"and there you have it. Let's give it a test." Tadashi smiled.

Mizuki just nodded and turned on the switch. They both observed the pet as it stood up properly and looked at them. Soon, the pet greeted them and they gasped in such success.

"It.... Worked!" Mizuki's eyes widened. Mizuki turned off the switch and the pet sat on the ground, the glow in it's eyes disappeared.

Mizuki faced Tadashi..

"it worked! Thank you so much! Tadashi" she said in glee.

Tadashi's heart raced from her happiness and was glad he made it happen for her.

"You're welcome" he smiled.

Mizuki then hugged Tadashi and giggled. Tadashi's eyes widened and embraced her back. Mizuki then pulled away and smiled at him. They soon got an eye-to-eye contact and they both smiled at each other. Tadashi placed his hands on her shoulders

"Mizuki..." He muttered.

"Hm?" She hummed in a questionable tone and soon, she realized that Tadashi was leaning forward to meet her lips.

Mizuki saw this coming and she backed away slowly, hiding her shock with a smile.

"I...um... I think we should get going.. Tomorrow's another day" she smiled.

Tadashi snapped from his actions and sheepishly backed away.

"y-yeah.. It is" he scratched the back of his head, looking down at the ground.

"Gosh, i'm so stupid.." He thought for himself.

"Hey, if you have plans tomorrow, maybe i'll help you out in return" Mizuki placed a hand on Tadashi's shoulder, smiling.

Tadashi then looked at her and smiled

"yeah, absolutely. Thanks" he grinned.

"I'll head back to my lab now... And thanks again" he stood up and went to the door.

"I'm just returning the favor" Mizuki smiled at Tadashi even though he wouldn't see it.

Tadashi nodded and exited her lab. Mizuki then went to bed and slept. Tadashi, didn't left the hallway yet. He leaned at the door and looked up.

"Why..... Did i just do that..?" He muttered.

He frowned and left the hallway and proceeded to his lab. Although he just laid there, he couldn't sleep from what he attempted to do.

"Gosh, i'm so stupid.." He muttered once again.

Mizuki, atleast pretended to be asleep. But also, can't shut her eyes. Tadashi's action replayed in her head and soon her heart raced. She looked up at her ceiling and wondered what Tadashi feels for her.

That night, Mizuki remembered her little sister, asking her relationship status.. She wanted Mizuki to have someone special to be introduced to her before she could be with their parents.

But the problem is that Mizuki coudn't even kiss a guy. She was traumatized by her first and past lover- Or... Supposed to be.

She introduced that guy to her little sister and they had a great time. But as the boy wanted more from Mizuki and she couldn't give it. He was getting aggressive and possessive that almost Mizuki couldn't handle it. He was being rough at her.

The way he holds her hands and her wrist were getting tighter than being gentle. Mizuki cried infront of her little sister and apologized that she couldn't handle him and so, her little sister let her leave him and for the best, avoid him as possible.

As for Mizuki.. She wanted to make her wish come true. That's her only favor and she wanted her to be happy, letting her know that she's going to be alright with the hands of her beloved and she won't be alone any longer.

Her little sister is named Mayu. She has a black hair with a length that's above her shoulder. She's been confined at the hospital in San Fransokyo because of a deadly disease inherited from their grandmother.

Luckily, Mizuki didn't inherited that disease. But as for their mother, she was the carrier of the disease. Their mother died at the age of 41, when Mayu was at the age of 9. 3 years have passed and Mayu is now 12 years old. The symptoms took effect at the age of 10 which is quite rare for a young age to have that kind of disease.

She was confined at the hospital at the age of 11 and she stayed there for 1 year. Even at her birthday. Their grandmother, on the side of their father, took care of Mizuki and Mayu when they were still young and was soon passed to their uncle and is working abroad. Which explains where Mizuki can get money from.

Mayu now only have a few months to live and Mizuki is very worried. She was her only sibling and her only friend when they were young and she loved her very much. The date of her death is still unknown but the doctors mentioned that it won't take a year. Mizuki is really upset.
