Happy Family

It was Sunday and Tadashi felt very happy to realize that Mizuki felt the same way for him.

He replayed the scene in his mind and got himself prepared. He woke up early and decided to go with Mizuki one more time to visit her little sister, Mayu.

Tadashi went to Mizuki's lab and was about to knock on the door but was soon opened by Mizuki. Mizuki saw Tadashi and smiled. Tadashi then stepped back for Mizuki to have way and Mizuki closed the door behind her.

"Alright, let's go" Mizuki smiled.

Tadashi nodded and they left the university and went to the hospital.

Mayu is playing with her pet that was created by her big sister but soon stopped once she heard the door open to reveal her lovable big sister.

"Mizuki! Welcome back!" She cheered.

Mizuki giggled, approached her and gave her a kiss on the forehead. Mayu giggled and hugged her big sister.

"i've missed you!" She mentioned.

"Me too, Mayu" Mizuki smiled.

Tadashi then approached the two, after closing the door behind him.

"Tadashi!" Mayu cheered.

"hey, there!" Tadashi grinned.

Tadashi gazed at Mizuki lovingly. Mizuki noticed this and giggled.

"Mayu, i would like you to meet Tadashi" she recalled.

Mayu tilted her head as if she was confused.

"but... I already know Tadashi.." Mayu mentioned. Mizuki gave her a smile.

"in another way" Mizuki replied.

Mayu soon understood what Mizuki meant and widened her smile.

"really?!?!" She asked fondly as Mizuki nodded in reply.

"i'm so happy!!" Mayu cheered.

Tadashi watched Mayu get all cheery and chuckled at her actions. Tadashi approached closer and sat on a chair next to Mayu. Mayu then hugged Tadashi and Mizuki due to her fondness.

"sis, you won't be alone any longer! That's great news!" Mayu cheered. Mizuki giggled.

"thank you, Mayu." Mizuki smiled.

"Mayu, i will never be alone as long as you're here" Mizuki added.

Mayu smiled at her but slightly frowned right after.

"I know... It's just that... I don't want to imagine you being alone without having someone else by your side once I'm with our parents..." Mayu said worriedly.

"you don't have to worry about me, Mayu, i'll always be fine for you" Mizuki smiled.

Mayu wanted to cry but decided to stay strong because she wouldn't want to make Mizuki worry about her too.

"I'm.... So happy for you two" Mayu said one last time.

Tadashi smiled at the two.

"Mayu, want to go to the park once more?" He grinned.

Mayu's face lit up and nodded at Tadashi. Mizuki giggled then stood up.

"alright then, let's go!" Mizuki cheered.

And there they left the hospital once more.

Tadashi, Mayu and Mizuki then reached the park. They all had a great time. They all played together, they all walked together, except Tadashi, carrying Mayu.

Mayu, felt like she's with her family once more.

"You know... It felt like we're one happy family." Mayu mentioned.

Mizuki giggled slightly "Mayu, it's because we are" she replied.

"No, what i meant to say.... It's like mom and dad were here" Mayu smiled at Mizuki, about to shed tears.

Mizuki smiled at Mayu and combed her hair with her hand

"Mayu...".

Tadashi slightly frowned, knowing that they've lost their parents too. Tadashi and Hiro lost their parents when Hiro was 3 and they were then passed to their Aunt Cass.

"Hey, we should lighten things up" Tadashi mentioned, smiling.

Mizuki and Mayu looked at Tadashi, smiled and nodded. Soon, they all ordered some ice cream and had a long chat right after. Afternoon came and Mayu got tired.

"Mayu, let's head back to the hospital so you can rest" Mizuki suggested. Mayu smiled at her big sister and nodded. Mizuki and Tadashi looked at each other and decided to head back.
