Destined Fate

First Night

Mizuki woke up one more time because the nightmare continued.

She checked the clock and it was 1:24am. She slightly groaned and woke Tadashi up. Tadashi slowly opened his eyes and saw a teary-eyed Mizuki. He got a little worried.

"what's wrong?" He asked.

"The dream, it came back...." She muttered.

Tadashi frowned and embraced Mizuki. He couldn't help it. But Mizuki hugged him back and leaned on his chest for a few moments.

"C-can you..... Sleep next to me..?" Mizuki looked away.

Tadashi's eyes widened a bit.

"It would help me a lot" Mizuki blushed a bit, thinking that it may be awkward but it's the only option to keep her from having bad dreams.

"Uh.. Alright then. I hope you don't mind" Tadashi mentioned. Mizuki shook her head.

"no... I really don't mind" she slightly smiled.

Mizuki then went to the mattress and scooted a bit to have enough space for Tadashi. Tadashi lied down and faced Mizuki. Mizuki was facing him, but she's looking down, avoiding eye contact. Mizuki then scooted a bit closer to Tadashi and rested her head on Tadashi's chest, Tadashi then slowly wrapped an arm around Mizuki and pulled her a little close to him to make her feel alot safer.

Mizuki suddenly drifted to sleep and Tadashi smiled, this chance made him get butterflies in his stomach and he was happy he could embrace her like this. Tadashi yawned a bit and went to sleep.
