Confession

Morning came, and Mizuki woke up. She got prepared and decided to go the the Lucky Cat Cafe as usual.

Mizuki often sees Tadashi, waiting for her outside her lab in the morning, then they proceed to go there together.

But at this day, Tadashi didn't showed up. Mizuki shrugged it off and left the university. A few minutes later, she arrived at the Lucky Cat Cafe.

"Mizuki! Welcome!" Cass greeted Mizuki with a hug.

"Good morning, Miss Cass" Mizuki greeted back.

Cass just giggled and gestured her to take a seat.

"let me get you something, the usual?" Cass asked and Mizuki nodded with a smile.

"Oh, and let me call Tadashi so you can both go back to the university together" she smiled.

Mizuki, nodded once more and proceeded to pull out a small book from her bag and continues to read it.

Cass then called Tadashi from upstairs and went back to work. A few seconds later, Tadashi jogged downstairs and saw Mizuki, sitting on the same spot she usually were even in the past few days.

Tadashi smiled and approached Mizuki.

"Good morning, Mizuki" he greeted.

Mizuki looked up from her book and smiled at Tadashi.

"Good morning, Tadashi" she greeted back. Tadashi grinned and sat across Mizuki and gazed at her without her noticing.

Cass then approached the two, holding Mizuki's usual order and Tadashi's Breakfast.

"Here you go, Mizuki. Your usual order." Cass said as she handed the order infront of Mizuki. Mizuki smiled and thanked her.

"And Tadashi, here's your breakfast since you haven't ate anything this morning yet." Cass mentioned.

"Thanks, Aunt Cass." Tadashi smiled at her and she chuckled.

"So, Mizuki, has Tadashi asked you to be his girlfriend, yet?" Cass asked Mizuki as Mizuki stared in shock.

"U-umm... I-" Mizuki stuttered

".. Aunt Cass..!" Tadashi said in a whiny and annoyed tone. Cass laughed.

"i'm just kidding, have fun you two" she smiled and left to entertain the other customers.

Tadashi sighed.

"sorry about that, Mizuki" Tadashi apologized.

"I-it's fine.." Mizuki slightly giggled.

Soon, they finished their breakfast and went back to the university together.

Minutes later, they arrived at their university. Tadashi and Mizuki were greeted by their friends as usual. Oh, their daily routine never ends.

Soon, Mizuki got called by tadashi. Mizuki turned her gaze from where the voice came from and there, she saw tadashi. Tadashi gestured Mizuki to follow him and so she nodded. Mizuki stopped from what she was doing, and followed Tadashi.

Tadashi made Mizuki follow him into his lab and there, he stopped walking. Mizuki, somehow is confused and tilted her head slightly, looking at Tadashi.

Tadashi then turned around to face Mizuki and approached her closely. Mizuki didn't move from where she is standing and just continued looking at Tadashi as he goes nearer and nearer.

Tadashi stopped once they were only inches apart and sighed heavily.

"Mizuki... There's something i wanted to say.." He trailed off.

Mizuki hummed in a questionable tone and tilted her head.

"Mizuki.. I.... I've been wanting to tell you..." He trailed off once more.

"Yeah..?" Mizuki replied. Tadashi gulped and sighed once more.

"Mizuki... I L-" Tadashi got cut off once they heard the door burst open, revealing Fred and Honey Lemon.

Tadashi slightly glared at them but they didn't noticed it.

"Mizuki! you got a call from Mayu" they said in unison. Mizuki then widened her eyes

"Tadashi.. Can we talk about it later..?" Mizuki glanced at Tadashi as he smiled.

"it's fine, it's fine." He answered.

Mizuki nodded and ran outside and went to her lab. Fred and Honey Lemon approached Tadashi

"hey, man" Fred said as he placed his hand on Tadashi's shoulder.

"We're sorry for bothering you two... It seems like you two were having a moment.." Honey Lemon looked down.

Tadashi sighed.

"it's okay, guys. Mayu's call is more important. I would like to thank you guys for her" he smiled slightly.

"The confession can wait." He muttered. Fred and Honey Lemon's eyes widened

"y-you're going to confess??" Honey Lemon gasped in shock.

"That's very brave of you, man" Fred complimented.

Tadashi nodded and smiled at them.

"it's time for me to tell her the truth... It's okay of she doesn't return my feelings, but i wouldn't want to end myself hoping without realizing the truth.." He smiled.

Fred patted Tadashi's back and smiled. Honey Lemon, gave Tadashi a quick hug and smiled at him.

"We support you, Tadashi" Honey Lemon smiled.

"yeah, buddy" Fred added while giving Tadashi a light pat on the back. Tadashi nodded

"thanks, guys." He grinned and walked out of his lab and went to Mizuki.
