Destined Fate

In the Park

They soon reached the park and Mayu was very happy.

Mayu spot a swing and pointed at it as Tadashi and Mizuki followed where her index finger was pointing.

"You want to ride the swing, Mayu?" Mizuki asked while smiling.

Mayu nodded quickly and grinned at Mizuki and Tadashi.

"To the swing then." Tadashi announced and went towards the swing, Mizuki following behind.

Tadashi then place Mayu on the swing and decided to give her a slight push. Mizuki stood infront of the swing but far enough so that the swing wouldn't hit her.

Mizuki's reason is so that she could keep watch the distance suitable for Mayu, and incase if she falls down. Mayu giggled and giggled. Mizuki couldn't help but smile and worry about Mayu.

"I want to go further!" Mayu announced while smiling towards Mizuki.

"Aye aye, captain" Tadashi replied, smiling.

But as soon Tadashi pushed, Mayu was up high. That's when a tragedy happened.

Mayu accidentally let go of the swing and down she went. Mizuki's eyes widened and she soon took action. Mizuki ran towards where she thinks Mayu is suppose to fall.

Mayu closed her eyes as if she thinks that it will hurt her alot but soon realized, she was caught by Mizuki. Mizuki's knees bent down due to the sudden weight that added on her but she was able to balance it once she forced her strength to carry Mayu. Mizuki sighed.

"I was very worried, Mayu." Mizuki frowned.

Tadashi approached the two while scratching the back of his head.

"I-i'm sorry... It was my fault.." Tadashi frowned.

"No, it was my fault.." Mayu admitted, frowning.

Mizuki shook her head.

"no, no.. It's nobody's fault.. It was all an accident" Mizuki said.

"but i'm so glad you're safe, Mayu.." Mizuki added.

The three of them sighed in relief and exhaustion. Moments later, Tadashi is carrying Mayu behind him once more and strolled around the park.

Tadashi, Mayu and Mizuki heard the sound of an ice cream truck, near a bench.

"Ice cream!" Mayu exclaimed as Tadashi and Mizuki giggled.

"Then, let me get us some" Mizuki said, smiling. Tadashi nodded and they approached the ice cream truck.

Mizuki ordered 3 vanilla ice cream and paid the total amount of the price and soon, handed the ice creams to Tadashi and Mayu. They sat on the bench and ate their ice cream.

After a few seconds, Tadashi was about to take another bite of his ice cream until.. He felt something cold and liquid dripping on his shoulder.

He froze and tensed a bit. Mizuki was about to glance at Mayu until she saw Tadashi's face. At first, she was confused on such expression he has but soon realized that Mayu's ice cream was dripping from her hands, down to Tadashi's shoulder.

"Oh my! Mayu, your ice cream is melting!" Mizuki exclaimed in shock.

Mayu looked at her ice cream and was shocked.

"o-oh! S-sorry! Tadashi!" Mayu apologized.

"I-it's okay" Tadashi said as he tried to smile.

Mizuki took out a tissue from her pouch and wrapped it around Mayu's ice cream cone. She took another tissue to wipe off the cold liquid on Tadashi's shoulder.

Tadashi sighed in relief, knowing that the cold sensation is gone. They soon finished their ice cream right after.

The sticky feeling of the dried ice cream bothered Mayu and Tadashi

"sis, it's so sticky.." Mayu whined. Mizuki slanted her mouth and tried to look for a bathroom. Mizuki then spot one and pointed at it

"there's a bathroom over there, let's go." Mizuki mentioned as she walks towards it, Tadashi following behind (still carrying Mayu).

Mizuki then stopped for a few minutes then went around the public bathroom, looking for a public sink. She spotted one, and turned it on. Mizuki took out a handkerchief and pour a little water on it, enough to make it slightly soaked.

Mizuki turned off the sink, then walked towards Tadashi. Mizuki offered the handkerchief to him and he accepted then proceeded to wipe the sticky ice cream on his shirt.

"Tadashi, let me carry Mayu" Mizuki asked.

Tadashi looked at Mizuki then slowly nodded. He carefully handed Mayu to Mizuki and Mayu quickly hugged her. Mizuki smiled and went to the sink once more, carrying Mayu.

"Here, wash your hands" Mizuki gestured after she turned on the sink.

Mayu happily obliged and reached out both her hands to wash the sticky feeling off.

Later on, Mayu is done washing her hands and smiled at Mizuki. Mizuki giggled and went back to Tadashi, standing next to a bench. Tadashi smiled as he saw them approaching and reached his hand out, gesturing Mizuki that he'll carry Mayu.

Mayu reached out for Tadashi and Tadashi caught her and gave her the usual piggy back ride. Mayu giggled and so did Mizuki.
