Her Invention

"Um.... Did anybody mentioned about invisibility..?" Mizuki butted in.

Everybody's head turned to look at Mizuki. Mizuki saw Tadashi and smiled.

"oh, Tadashi, i see that you're back" she mentioned.

Tadashi then approached Mizuki.

"ah, Mizuki! Meet my brother, Hiro" Tadashi smiled.

Mizuki slightly giggled and looked towards Hiro.

"Hello. Hiro. It's very nice to meet you!" Mizuki smiled.

"So... You must be the Mizuki i've kept on hearing from my big brother" Hiro chuckled.

Tadashi then quickly turned his gaze towards Hiro as Hiro smiled teasingly.

"Oh, really?" Mizuki asked, her eyes widened a bit followed by a chuckle.

"Oh you have no idea" Hiro chuckled once more.

Tadashi glared at Hiro then looked at Mizuki. Mizuki giggled at Tadashi's reaction.

"you know, there's always a time that Tadashi keeps on---"

Hiro was about to tell embarrassing moments that he encountered from his brother but got cut off when Tadashi quickly dashed towards Hiro and covered his mouth.

"Hiro, be proper!" Tadashi scolded Hiro, slightly above whisper and let go of him.

Hiro rolled his eyes and looked at Mizuki.

"so... Has Tadashi proposed to you, yet?" Hiro asked making everyone except for Mizuki and Tadashi slightly chuckle.

Mizuki thought for a minute and covered her reddened face with her palms. Tadashi, hit Hiro at the back of his head making Hiro rub his head from the pain and glared at Tadashi.

Tadashi, just looked at the ceiling as if he didn't do it but also made Hiro notice that he's slightly annoyed.

Hiro sighed and went back to topic.

"i'm just kidding. It's also nice to meet you though, Mizuki" Hiro chuckled.

Mizuki then looked at Hiro from her palms and smiled. Mizuki then moved her arms by her sides and nodded.

"As i were saying.. I've been trying to make an invisibility cloak, possible. So far, i am a few steps closer to its perfection" Mizuki smiled.

Everyone looked at Mizuki in disbelief and gasped "isn't that impossible?" Honey Lemon asked.

"the same thought came into my mind when i was young. But i somehow found out the possible ways" Mizuki explained.

"I can show you" Mizuki smiled and guided everyone to her lab. "This took me years to find it out. So i finished some of my other projects, first than this".

Mizuki explained while showing them a topless mannequin.

"Um.. There's nothing there.." Honey Lemon said in confusion.

Mizuki raised her index finger then smiled.

"That's the trick" she giggled.

She then took hold of a certain fabric then flipped it over. That's when they saw what's inside the cloak. It's gray in the inside and invisible in the outside.

"Woah.." Fred said in amaze. "If you don't move, it won't be much obvious." Mizuki explained.

"but if you do move, the image behind it may look distorted, making it very obvious and you'll be easily caught" Mizuki added.

"the next thing i have to find out is to make the images behind it, clear as possible so that it will stay hidden even while you're moving so that it will be in total perfection"

Mizuki smiled.

"But how did you do that?" Wasabi asked.

"As i have experimented and observed, all i need to do is to make the fabric manipulate the light waves. I used high tech, exotic meta-materials for it to manipulate the spectrum that people can't see in any way. Unless, if you move about. It consists of standard optical lenses that keeps the object hidden even if you move side to side." Mizuki answered.

Everyone was amazed and clapped at Mizuki's work as she coyly smiled at each and one of them. As soon as Mizuki's done introducing her work, Tadashi smiled at Mizuki.

"that's an amazing invention" Tadashi complimented.

Mizuki sheepishly smiled at Tadashi

"Thank you, Tadashi" Mizuki replied.

The rest of the group looked at Tadashi and Mizuki to observed them carefully, they soon chuckled on the way they look at each other, making them found to be adorable.
