Jisung had purposefully chosen a thursday evening to dye his hair. Since his date with Minho three days ago, he had been considering and reconsidering actually doing it because he really liked how the color looked on Minho, but then again he didn't want to imitate the older - even though he had assured him multiple times that he had no problem with it and he'd actually love to see Jisung with blonde hair. Eventually, on that thursday evening, Jisung had decided to just go through with it. He'd asked his mom to buy hair dye and then made her dye his hair - after she'd stopped complaining about why he would want to damage his perfectly healthy hair like that.

When his hair had finally dried completely and he's looked into the mirror, he was more than relieved and actually satisfied with his new look. His fear of ending up looking like Jack Frost had made him choose a more dark shade of blonde he was glad about that. He best wanted to take a selfie and send it to Minho but held back since he wanted it to be a little surprise when he saw him at school the next day. Jisung hadn't told anyone yet, not even Seungmin, so when he went to bed that night, his mind kept spinning around the possible different reaction he'd elicit from his friends.

Despite his good feeling about his new hair, he Jisung felt a little insecure as he walked down the school halls. He had never dyed his hair before and it was generally rare for a student to dye their hair. Only k-pop idols did it. Of course Minho, who'd had blonde hair for some time now, wasn't a k-pop idol - even though he might as well be one with his ethereal looks - but he had inspired Jisung a little after all.
The fact that Jisung had never even mentioned to Seungmin that he was thinking about ever dying his hair was probably the reason his best friend looked at him with a shocked expression when they met by their lockers.

«What..?» Seungmin stared at Jisung's hair for a while with furrowed eyebrows.
«Does it look bad?» Jisung started panicking and regretting his decision a little after seeing Seungmin's reaction.
«No..? I mean, it looks really good on you, but...why?» The younger's eyes eventually found Jisung's, expecting a reasonable answer for him dying his hair out of nowhere.

«I don't know...I wanted to try something new and, well, Min-» Jisung wasn't even able to finish his explanation as Seungmin interrupted him, a little more excited now and with raised eyebrows.
«Right! Minho! How was the...date?»
Jisung could tell that Seungmin was genuinely curious but he could hardly just tell him everything right there in the school's hallways. Even if there wouldn't be a single soul around, Jisung wouldn't do it. He needed a safer place for it.
«I'll tell you after school.» He almost whispered, anxious that someone might overhear that - actually very harmless - statement. In response, Seungmin only rolled his eyes, yet didn't protest as he respected his best friend's decisions.

«You look like twins now.»
Jisung turned to the familiar voice that had joined them, along with two other people. He immediately cringed at Hyunjin's words and him and Minho, who had come with Hyunjin, exchanged subtle disturbed look. Even though that statement made Jisung feel utterly uncomfortable, considering it would imply incest, he couldn't blame Hyunjin as the boy didn't know a thing.
Minho let out an awkward laugh while Jisung's decided to keep his mouth shut, trying to avoid eye contact with the taller.
«But it looks good, dude.» Felix, who had tagged along, added, almost as if he had sensed the awkward atmosphere and had decided to brush it off with a compliment. Jisung mumbled a quiet ‹thanks› and smiled.
