[DYLAN'S POV]

A week later, the group and I had a face-off with the Anti-Elementals at the dam.
Martha looked over at Isaac and then to me, "It looks like they've made a new friend."
I stepped forwad. "I don't know who you are or what you could possibly want with us, but no matter. We'll send you packing! Let's transform!" I said as we all grouped together. We activated our pendants all at once, of which sent a big wave of energy out from where we stood. Within an instant we were back in our glowing tracksuits.
"No matter, you won't be so arrogant when you see what special surprise I have coming your way." Formido stepped out to the side and revealed someone very familiar.
The group and I gasped in shock. We couldn't believe what we were seeing - Ethan was alive. However, something about him seemed different. There was a certain flare to his face that was now missing. He looked highly unrecognizable from where we stood.
Eric stared blankly at us and smirked, "That's right, Guardians. I'm back, and it already looks like you've got a replacement." he looked over at Alec. Alec looked down.
Alec voice was shaky, "There's no way in hell that this is real," she was practically trembling. Martha placed a reassuring hand upon her shoulder.
"Oh trust and believe," Eric's smirk grew, "I'm as real as can be."
Alya snapped, "Is this your guys' sick idea of a joke? If so, I'm not laughing."
Ivan pointed at him, "What's up with the outfit change, mystery man? You're not one of them are you?"
Eric looked at her, "Oh, this old thing? You're right, because I am now one of them." His words stunned us all, "I am now Ineptus, an Anti-Elemental." He then shifted his gaze towards me, "There's a little something I have to sort out with this one."
Immediately thereafter, he charged at me, sending me flying into a mound of dirt.
'Not this.' I thought to myself. The others then went charging against the other Anti-Elementals. It was absolute chaos when we were all going at each other.
Eric, now Ineptus, was hitting me harder and harder after every single blow. Next thing I knew, we were pushing up against each other's forearms with maximum force. For some reason, the confusion began to resurface in my eyes.
Ineptus was extra snarky, "What's the matter? You don't like me when I look like this?"
I gritted my teeth, "That's enough!" I pushed him away, sending him flying. With precision, he perfectly landed on his feet like a cat.
He then regrouped with the other four Anti-Elementals and called out, "Let's go, guys. These losers aren't worth our time." In seconds, they disappeared into a warped little wormhole.
The other guardians and myself all came together to regroup.
"Power down." we all laid down on the scuffled sand to rest.
Ivan heaved a large sigh, "So, that's what it feels like to face an Anti-Elemental, huh?"
"This is something I'll never live down." Alya wiped some sweat away from her forehead.
"Agreed." Martha was absolutely bothered.
"Agnes has some explaining to do." I straightened up.
"Not to mention the brutal beatdown we just took." Alec rolled over onto his side to face me.
"Hungnhh!" I groaned, "Trust and believe me when I say, this not over yet." I sighed and laid my head flat down on the ground.
