[DYLAN'S POV]
"I sense some injuries. How do you feel?" Agnes scanned my body on a stretcher.
"I'm just about peachy." I sighed.
"You put out a lot of power and took some serious damage during your last fight. As of now, your body needs some rest. I've applied some hyper-healing supplements to your injuries." The computer chimed.
I didn't feel too bad, I was just light-headed and my hands and knees had nasty grazes on them.
"Don't worry, you'll be able to go to school tomorrow, good as new." Agnes piped up again.
Ivan naïvely slapped his hand on my collar bone, "See, not too bad."
"Ow!" I winced.A few days later, the group and I went to Margot's place to discuss some new developments she's been coming up with.
"So," Ivan waltzed in by the door, "what you got for us?"
"Hello to you too, Ivan." She said.
"Hey Margot. What's up?" I plopped down on the couch next to the others.
"Look, I know that you guys have pendants already, however, I think there's something missing from your arsenal." She motioned for us to follow her into her study. There was a big box that stood upon a small table.
"What is it?" Martha asked.
Ivan stupidly reached out, "Don't touch it, dipshit!" Alya slapped his hand away.
Alec rolled his eyes.
"Anways..." I sighed, "What's in the box?" I asked.
Margot glared at the box proudly. "Agnes and I have been working on something lately." She opened the box and light spilled out as she did. The rest of us covered our eyes as five glowing objects began to levitate out of the box. "These are your Guardian Gear Wearable Devices. These will not only help you keep in contact with me, but you will also have a direct communication line to Agnes."
"Are you kidding? That's epic!" Ivan's eyes lit up.
"Indeed." Agnes' voice came through tenfold on the devices.
"This is too cool." Alya said.
"For sure." Alec agreed.
"You can take them now." She said.
"You don't have to tell me twice!" Martha shoved past Ivan and Alya. She grabbed one and put it on her wrist. The rest of us also put one on each of our wrists. They all chimed when we attached them to our wrists.
"Thank you." I said, "What can we do to repay you?" I asked.
Margot snickered, "You're kidding, right? I'm practically part of the team now. Right, Agnes?"
"Affirmative. Guardians, Margot is now your Mission Contol Consultant. She will notify you whenever something in need of your attention is occurring and give you details as to its location and its causes."
"Welcome to the team." I said as I shook her hand. I have a feeling that this is what will help us get a leg-up on the Anti-Elementals.
