[DYLAN'S POV]
The other Guardians sprinted towards Erebus, ready to attack. Just before they reached him, he raised one hand, projecting a forcefield that helded them in place. "You really think you stand a chance against me? Too bad..." he pushed his hand forward, "So sad." The others were forced back by the slight movement of his hand. They all fell to the ground.
"It was worth a shot." Alya strained.
Erebus scoffed. "None of you are worth my time." He turned on a heel and strutted back towards his pod. "I'll just destroy you lot instead."
I gathered all the strength I had to get up and run towards Erebus. Just before I hit him, he blasted me away. When I landed, an intense wave of pain shot from my back to the rest of my body. I grunted loudly as I struggled to get back up. I gritted my teeth, and clenched my fists as I maneuvered myself onto my hands and knees. I felt heat rushing through my body as rage welled up from the inside. Like a bursting surge of magma. I smashed my fist into the grassy ground. "I've had it!" I hit it again. "I'm done with all this self-righteous bullshit!" I somehow managed to stand up. "I am sick and tired of being told that we're parasites and scum of the Earth when we've been saving people time and time again for, like, a month. Yet, we still don't get a single thank you. Does that seem fair to you?" I'd never been this upset before. Sparks had started to shoot up and around me. "How about you try being in our shoes for once?!" My body started to light up. A warm aura washed over me. I felt my injuries starting to heal. Small flames started lighting up in the air around me. I suddenly felt myself begin to levitate up off the ground. The moment I was suspended in mid-air, I felt my powers starting to come back. When Erebus turned around, his face turned. "No, you were good as dead!"
A sparky grin emerged on my face. "Now it's my turn." I crossed my forearms over my chest and called out, "Element Summon!" A flash of light emerged from my body. When the light receded, I was on the ground and wearing my new suit. "Oh, you are so in for it now!" I could hear the other Guardians cheering from behind me.
"I... Impossible!" Erebus went from being fully prideful to being terrified.
"Oh, but it is possible," I took a step forward, "Possible enough for a bunch of teenagers to kick your ass." I sped off at him, giving him an uppercut that sent him flying.
When he recovered he stood back up. "Graahhh!" He roared and chanelled his power into balls of energy in his hands. "I refuse to be thrown around by a bunch of pitiful children!"<< RuPaul - Ruby is Red Hot (Lush Remix) >>
