[DYLAN'S POV]
I woke up in a hospital bed with a drip injected into my arm with my mom standing over me as I slowly woke up.
"What happened? Where am I?" I asked.
"Don't worry, you'll be fine." my mother caressed my cheek lightly.
"Why does my head hurt?" I asked as I struggled to get up.
"Don't worry, Dylan just needs some rest after that graze on their head." the doctor said.
"No. I need to go. I have stuff to do." I tried to get up, but my mother tried to lay me back down.
"Okay, just don't worry, if there are any problems, I'll see to it that it's dealt with." My mom left the room just as the doctor gave me more anaesthesia.I woke up to the sight of my friends at the door with Martha. By now I was more than used to the strong feeling I felt in my gut when I was surrounded by the group I called my best friends.
"Something is binding us together, and we need to find out what it is." I weakly said, "Martha."
"Yes." she looked up from her phone.
"Would you mind giving us an explanation as to what we saw at the beach, please?"
"My people are nomadic people, we travel on land and in water."
"I understand how you can travel on land, but I'm struggling with the part that happens underwater." You could see how confused Alya was.
"The name of my people is schwimmfähig, which means 'amphibious' in German. We technically originate from Namibia, but have scattered around the world, so that none of our own are ever alone." she said.
"Oh, nice, I have heritage from there." I smiled.
"When I'm underwater, I can transform at will." she explained.
"It's not because of that necklace of yours is it?" Isaac pointed subtly at her necklace.
"No, I could still transform long before this, though. However, when I left my house to find some salmon, I found this necklace crashed into the water and latched onto me. The necklace is what led me to you guys. However, there is still one piece missing."
"What do you mean there's still a piece left?" Isaac raised one eyebrow.
"In our little circle, there are 5 elements. Fire, Water, Air, Nature and Earth. Right now, there are only 4 of us. Nature is the only one that's missing." Martha counted us out.
"Where exactly can we find this mysterious forest person?" Ivan looked at me.
"Doctor, will I be able to leave? Today, still." I asked.
"Sure, but you're going to have to take it easy, okay." they said, "You're just going to need to stay home tomorrow."
"Okay, cool." I said.
"Don't worry, Dylan." Martha placed a hand on my shoulder, "With the assistance of some of my sources, we've tracked the Amulet of Nature's energy signatures to a neighbourhood nearby.
My eyes widened suddenly, "Good. I know the place like the back of my palm."
