Ace of Hearts - Tenya I. x Reader

Chapter Ten

     Now what in the fuck nuggets am I going to wear tonight? You thought. You have never been formally invited nor formally attended any sort of get together that was considered a party. You held up several t-shirts to see what color you were feeling, you went with a nice purple and paired it with a sweatshirt and jeans. You through on some shoes and said goodbye to your dad before heading over to Jirou's. 

     When you arrived and walked through the door, you were greeted by a very enthusiastic Denki. "Hey Y/N!! Glad you came." 

      "Hey Denks. Glad to be here." 

      "Come follow me I'll show you around." Denki led you into the house and began leading you every which way. He showed you the kitchen and dining room where a spread of goodies and mini foods were displayed. Bowls of punch and liter bottles of sodas were spread out on the table with cups, silverware, and napkins surrounding them. 

     He then led you to the living room and the other open areas on the first floor and back yard. Jirou had set up the music stand in the living room with speakers and wires creating a fortress around the table. The lights were dimmed in some rooms and fully off in others. Small table disco balls and colored lights lit of the room with vibrant colors that swirled and danced on the walls and ceilings. There was a sheet where people could request songs. The backyard was were limbo and bean bag toss were held. You could see Bakugo and Izuku competing for lowest limbo. Tokoyami and Tsu were tossing bean bags, Tsu jumped up and down as she scored one in the hole. Back inside in several other first floor rooms were board games such as monopoly and clue, and several mini tables and chairs with various card games and games like battleship or jenga. You could see Aoyama and Todoroki plating some cookies and chips onto their plates. Shoji and Mina were by the bowl of punch; Shoji was pouring himself and Mina a cup.

      Sero had approached you and Denki, waving. "Hi Y/N! Welcome welcome." He gestured to a table with several decks of cards. "Wanna play a round or two?" 

     "Sure why not." You slide the chair out from the table and sat down. "Expect to finish the game crying because there is no way I am going to let you win." 

      "Oh it is on Y/N." Sero challenged. 

     The first game you played was battleship. You knew he stood no chance against you because you were no stranger to this game. You would often play it with you dad on past game nights, and rarely anyone who hadn't played you before could win. You were top tier when it came to strategically placing your ships and making sure to use your expressions to help trick your opponent. A true mastermind. As you expected Sero miserably lost, and much to his dismay a small crowd containing Izuku, Mina, and Kirishma had formed; all placing their bets on who would win. 

       After his defeat, Sero had convinced you to play another game. You switched to card games, starting off with uno, which at this point, Izuku, Ochacoand Momo had joined you and Sero. Momo ended up winning viciously. 

      The last two games you and Sero played were garbage. The first game was with you, Sero, and Ochaco and Ochaco won. You came in second, with Sero falling in last place. The second round it was just you and Sero. 

       "I will beat you this time. First place is mine for the taking." Sero chanted. He was determined to not add on to his losing streak. 

      You squinted your eyes and scrunched your face whispering, "Mhm sure you will." 

     You and Sero were half way through garbage when Iida walked over to your table. You ignored him, continuing with your turn. "Hey Sero, do you mind if I play?" Asked Iida.
