This day was defintely going to be a pain in the ass. The entire morning in all your classes your eyes stung. Maybe stung wasn't the right word, but all you could understand was it hurt like a bitch.
It started as a dull pain around your eyebrows and lower eye lid. Gradually, that dull pain caused a dreadful headache, and accompanied by none other than occasional sharp pains that made you wince. Your vision was also kind of blurry. You could see but not far far away items or signs and even after you completed your eye care it still didn't go away.
You figured it might have been lack of sleep or someother underlying pain in the neck thing, so you thought nothing of it. However, you reconsidered that previous thought after you couldn't even focus in Present Mic's class.
You had reason to believe the cause of thus sudden wave was due to your recent training with Aizawa and Kirishima. It was a week since the weekend you spent with your dad, and you had begun working bit by bit on your strength when it came to seer. Usually the only side effect you had from the training was sweat and achy muscles.
It had been about thirty minutes or so, and the pain was not letting up. You took some painkillers which had numbed it a little but, but it was not going away. You tried ice packs, massaging your temples, you even tried politely telling the pain to "Fuck off" and "Please go away." Much to your dismay, it did not work.
You rubbed light circles on your temple, wincing at the pain. You tried to focus on what Present Mic was saying, but it was difficult. You tried to copy the lesson, but your head would not stop banging. You had had enough.
You made the decision to visit Recovery Girl, although you had to admit you were embarrassed. She was probably going to think you have been neglecting you eye care, which was false. You had been very strict with your routine, not missing a single morning or night since than training fiasco.
You raised your hand and asked to be excused. Present Mic asked you where you were going. You asked him to come to your desk where you discreetly explained it was because your eyes were going in and out of fuzziness and were experiencing pain. He understood and excused you from class. You left the class and received some concerned stares, but you just continued on your way.
You entered the infirmary and waited patiently for Recovery Girl. When she finally appeared, you meekly smiled saying, "Hello."
"Good afternoon Y/N. What brings you to me today?" She asked.
You shifted in your seat shyly. "Well, I have been experiencing pain in my eyes since I woke up this morning and it has only progressively gotten worse throughout the day. I could barely focus in Present Mic's class just now."
"This does trouble me. Why don't you lay down on this cot here so I can examine your eyes." She said as she led me towards a cot to my right. She took out some fancy tools and began to examine my eyes. Shining a light in each eye, carefully examine my pupils, Iris, and cornea. Scribbling things down, she walked towards the counter behind you to picking up a bottle.
"This is a solution. I am going to put a few drops on your eyes and it will dialte them for a few minutes." She showed you the bottle and began unscrewing it. "It might tingle just a wee bit, but it shouldn't hurt."
You nodded. "Is this going to end my suffering?"
She smiled. "Sadly, this is not going to cure you pain deary. It mainly is to help me further examine your eyes. If you want something for the pain, I can give you something with a small dosage."
