"It's a date." You recalled Iida saying that to you on Thursday during breakfast before class.
He had sat down with you, Kirishima, and Izuku for breakfast. It took Iida a hot minute to get closer to you and ask you, "Would you like to go on a date?" You of course had no objections, until he told you to pick the time and place. How the hell are you supposed to do that in your busy schedule? You have school, then lunch, then training, then snack time, then dinner, then pre-midnight nap, then midnight snack time, then bed. Plus, how were you supposed to decide the best place to have fun? You're an indecisive bitch.
"Any ideas?" He asked.
Your mind thought of the possibilities which flowed endlessly on a conveyor belt of mayhem and fun. "How about skating on Saturday?"
"Ice?"
"No dummy. Roller skating. I'm sure you are good at it." You commented before going to town on your breakfast.

It turns out, in fact, Iida is a terrible skater. More specifically, he has never put on a pair of skates in his life. You should have guessed sooner by his forced optimism at Thursday's breakfast.
You have always used roller blades, and thought Iida could rock them too. Also wrong. He couldn't even stand. So you switched him to roller skates. It was an improvement, but he stood like he was drunk, wobbling and arms extended stiffly to hold his balance.
"Iida," he turned to face you looking all embarrassed. "Have you ever skated before?"
"No,'' he said sheepishly.
You palmed your forehead. "Oh boy. It's my fault for choosing this spot. I should have asked if you have skated before."
"No no no." Iida said all panicky, hoping to not have made you upset. "Sure I've never skated because I run on my feet not on wheels, but that doesn't mean I don't want to learn or have fun."
"Ok. So we'll start with the basics and hope you don't fall."
"Oh I will."
"Then I'll keep count and tell everyone when we get back to UA." You joked.
"You wouldn't."
"Don't fall." You warned before gripping his wrist and skating backwards, pulling him with you. You gave him encouraging nods and smiles. "Just stand and I'll drag you around the corner in the rink. You haven't graduated to turning yet." You giggled.
You led him into the rink and placed both his hands onto the wall. "You graduate to holding my hands after you have mastered the wall."
That seemed to have given him enough motivation to take steps. Steps?! Not on your watch. This man was going to learn how to skate if it was the last thing you do. You skated agonizingly slow beside him. The wall was to help him gain his balance. If he could do that then he'd move on to holding hands and learning to push.
To no surprise he learned quickly. He grinned smugly. "Do I get to graduate now?"
"I guess." You said coldly, although it was jokingly. You swiveled around to face him and gripped his hands tightly. You both were bent slightly, leaning into each other for balance. "Let's skate."
You really hoped he'd ace skating. Wrong again. This man was so adamant to pushing and brushing his feet. He continued to walk or shuffle, ignoring your advice. "No. Don't step. Push one foot, then the other."
