"Oh, put a sock in it, Bakugou." You grumbled as you munched on a corndog. Spending your Saturday at the mall was not necessarily a bad thing, but it became worse when the blond asshole wouldn't stop complaining about his feet hurting.
You had dragged Kirishima and Bakugou to the mall to look around the shops idly, but more importantly, to wait in line for one of your favorite author's newest book was out on the shelf today. You were determined to push past all the losers and be the first in and out. You knew you wouldn't be able to get past some people, which is why you had armed yourself with hunk #1 and hunk #2. Bakugou's temper could help carve a clear path inside, while Kirishima can handle pushing and shoving.
Originally you had only asked Kirishima to come, but he pleaded to you to let Bakugou come. Kirishima gave you puppy eyes and told you it "wasn't very manly" of you not to have Bakugou tag along. You had no choice but to comply.
The mall opened at 10:30 am, and the bookstore opened at exactly 11:00 am. Kirishima slurped on his shake and walked, holding hands with Bakugou, who was scowling as he ate cinnamon pretzels. The north side always had more stores to offer, including many of your favorite stores.
You arrived at the bookstore behind several eager people and groups, just as desperate as you were to get their hands on a copy. You didn't care what lengths you had to resort to in order to assure you left with a hard pre-signed copy. There were only limited copies, and you were set on getting one.
You stood impatiently, tapping your foot obnoxiously against the marble floor. You were sixth in line, and that pissed you off. Twirling your corndog in your hand, you leaned into Bakugou's ear and whispered, "Is there anything you can do to get me into at least third or preferably second in line?"
Bakugo raised his eyebrows in excitement, ready to do the job he was sucked into doing. He opened his mouth to answer until the whole mall began to quake, and a thunderous crash echoed through the mall. Panicked screams soon flooded the air as shoppers and civilians ran and hid from the two villains that blew a hole into the side of the mall.
"Fucking villains," Bakugou swore. You dropped your corn dog, and Kirishima threw his shake in the trash. You band together, forming a circle, your backs to each other.
"What now?" Kirishima asked. One of the villains had a type of slime quirk, the sticky goop dripping to the floor and immobilizing civilians. It was puke green, with exploding boils that reek of sewage. The other villain resembled those of earth quirks, specifically boulders. Its abnormally large hands gripped and ripped at the railings and stairs, tearing them up. It punched the walls, grabbed the debris, and threw it at anyone close enough to get hit.
"Guess these guys are our problem now." You were annoyed. Dealing with villains wasn't how you pictured spending your day.
"Hey Y/N!" Bakugou yelled. "You're now first in line for your book."
You huffed in annoyance. "Don't remind me of what I can have right now, asshole. We have bigger issues right now."
"Guys," Kirishima squeaked. "Incoming." He jumped out of the way as a giant piece of wall flew at the three of you. You and Bakugo dodged the debris, rolling to the side, and hid behind a trash can. Kirishima ducked behind a massage chair and made quick work of hardening himself.
You pulled Bakugou, who was looming over you harshly by the collar of his shirt, so he is now at your level. "Who should we pick a fight with first?" You said restlessly.
"Earth, dude. He is causing the most damage" You nodded in agreement and signaled to Kirishima that he and Bakugo were going to take out the earth, man. "Are you going to take him down with us?"
