You slammed your history notebook down on Iida's desk, hands balled into fists as you bowed your head and let out a defeated sigh. "I'm only asking you 'cause I'm desperate." You warned a shocked Iida. "Please help me pass the next history test."

Iida was shocked by your straightforwardness, flinching. "Uh, sure."

You didn't want to look the bastard in the face. A slight blush dusted your cheeks from embarrassment. You swore to yourself it was from embarrassment to ask him for help. Not for approaching the man who liked you, utterly aware of that fact.

It was over two weeks ago that conversation with Mina, and it had opened your eyes to a whole new level of crystal fucking clear. You were hypervigilant now, noting almost every glance Iida cast at you; the obvious ones where he stared a little too long and the not so inconspicuous ones where he thought you didn't notice.

It was torture for you, and you weren't the one with a fat crush. You were on edge thinking about what Iida was thinking when he looked at you. If he came up behind you, you would jump, startled and slightly flustered. You brushed the fluster off as being a "jumpy person." You didn't want to be mean abou it considering the fact people can't control their feelings for people, but naturally you were socially awkward and didn't know how to react to your own feeling let alone others.

You excused the blush that tinted your cheeks, and loudly dragged and sat on a chair facing him. Iida was still sitting wide-eyed in his desk, his own stack of papers were placed neatly on his desk.

"What is it you exactly need help on?" Iida moved his papers back into his bag and fished out his own history notebook and a pencil and red pen. He had packed them up after class was dismissed for the day.

"Everything." You groaned out the complaint.

"Okay then." Iida looked at you like you were a lost cause. He wasn't wrong. "We will start with The beginning of the chapter and then move to memorizing dates and lastly vocabulary. Skim over your notes and I'll test you after to see what exactly we need to go over."

     "Aye aye captain."

You opened your notebook to the start of the chapter, briefly looking over basic dates, important events and people, and all the other boring facts that come with learning history. You sighed when after five minutes you couldn't remember a single thing.

Iida was sweet you weren't going to deny it, but feelings, especially romantic ones weren't your strong suit. "I need you to take everything you know about the Peloponnesian War and dumb it down slightly, than I need you to dumb it down a little more, then I need you to teach it to me because I fell asleep in class yesterday." You do your best to flash a pearly, bright smile  and it seems to work.

Iida sighed. "Why on earth did you fall asleep in class?"

You look at the floor. "Because the night before I was trying to relearn the quadratic equation for the math test, but then I got distracted because I realized my fish tank was dirty so I spent two hours cleaning it and before I knew it, it was almost two in the morning."

Iida rubbed his temple. "Okay. Let's try." Encouraging, but said with an underlying tone of hopelessness. "What two city states fought each other in the Peloponnesian War?"

"I don't know." You answered honestly. "I know one is like pro-war and the other is like book smart." You stifled a giggle into your fist as you mumbled, "a place you would most definitely fit right in."
