You approached Bakugou the next morning with your dilemma. You regretted the decision because you had originally thought he was all mushy gushy and lovey dovey. But you should have known to not have underestimated a temperamental fire cracker in love.
"How did you know that you liked Kirishima?" A horrible question that would branch off into a flurry of icky smoochy comments and tales from Bakugou. You never did picture him as the sentimental sucker type.
"I think it was pretty obvious for me. Sure his personality is one of a kind and his smile lights up my life, but I think I realized I like him more than a friend when I would skip my 8:30 bedtime just to talk to him. Or when he'd be the person to calm me down and center me when I get feisty. He's like my rock, no pun intended. We balance each other out and well," Bakugou winked, "we fit well together as a team."
"Delightful. Very gushy and mushy." You teased him. "But in all seriousness, I think you guys are adorable. But me and Iida are like polar opposites."
"Me and Kiri are polar opposites too." Bakugou pointed out. "I think another important thing is that he looked at me like I was approachable when most people avoid me."
"Well that's your temper for you. Ya ya but you guys... like... fit together. Me and Iida do but don't? Plus," you added, "he doesn't even like me. I'm really mean to him too."
"Doesn't even like you? Please. I see it and I know Mina has told you about his fat ass crush. The only one who was oblivious was you. Maybe you'll need to make the first move if he keeps over analyzing your interactions too much."
"Whatever. You helped me somewhat. I mean we're not going to date anyway." You left Bakugou alone, which probably wasn't smart because he got straight to scheming.
He created a group chat with Kirishima, Mina, Deku, and Uraraka. He sent in the chat plans for a date for you and Iida. They would pose as going in groups and then cancel, leaving just Iida and you alone on a date.
Everyone had agreed to the plan and began to set it in motion. Kirishima invited Iida to go eat lunch at the cafe with him and Izuku. Mina texted you to ask to have a girl talk over coffee. Uraraka and Bakugou called the cafe to reserve a special seat for the occasion. Once everything was set and done Bakugou smiled mischievously knowing you and Iida were clueless.

Kirishima said to meet at the table in the corner by the painted window. Iida said to himself and he swung the cafe door open. He was greeted by a jingle and as he headed to the table, hand nearly grabbing the back of the seat, he bumped into a lady carrying boxes of cookies.
"Oh! I'm so sorry ma'am." Iida exclaimed as he bent down to help her pick up the boxes and her bag.
"You are quite alright sir, I was the one not paying attention."
The back and forth apologies continued as you entered through the side entrance and made your way to the seat by the painted window, as suspiciously ordered by Mina.
You and Iida distracted, you both pulled the seats back simultaneously and sat down at the table, before finally realizing you were sitting across from each other.
"Y/N?" Iida said, mouth agape. "What are you doing here?"
"Meeting up with Mina and Uraraka for a girls coffee date." You crossed your arms suspiciously. "What are you doing here?"
"I was supposed to meet Bakugou and Kirishima." Iida was just as confused as you were. He didn't admit it out loud, but he was kind of glad for this mix up.
