Natalie's POV

I was standing in utter shock and fear. He's far less scary on screen. Now that this was my reality, I realize that this giant space grape could squash me like a bug.

"You don't care to see one of your so-called children is now dead?" I asked.

Try to stall. It's not going to work, but you gotta get this stupid glove on Talia's hand.

I tried to signal with my eyes for Talia to move towards the gauntlet, but Thanos caught on before she did.

"I wouldn't do that child, we both know how this will end," Thanos's voice rumbled against the walls.

It left an unsettling feeling in my stomach. One that I knew I wouldn't be able to shake off anytime soon.

"Wanda, can you give me an escape plan? Please and thank you."

"That's a smart idea, although it won't work. You'll be lucky if one of you walks out alive. I'm getting that gauntlet one way or another. It's best if you hand it over."

"...if one of you walks out alive."

I knew Talia had that thought too.

My neck practically snaps as I look in her direction. She gave me a sad look and I knew what she was about to do.

"Talia don't you dare."

"Get it out of here," she says sternly.

Wow, she grew up very quickly within the last day.

Thanos chuckles to himself.

"You're a fool if you think you can stall me long enough. I am inevitable."

"You know, that line really gets old," I groaned a little too loud.

I run to the window escape hatch, and I look back for a split moment to see Talia in her bird form. Which I now realize sounds super weird.

She went for his eye in hopes to blind him, but it didn't go as planned. He managed to get ahold of her and threw her onto the ground.

I tried to get this stupid hatch open, but it wasn't budging.

"Wanda, help would be pretty awesome right now," I said in a panicked voice.

Talia, now in her human form, managed to grab a hold of a knife and attempt to stab Thanos in the back of his leg, but his skin was too thick. It did, however, catch his attention.

He turned around, and with his double-sided sword, stabbed her right in the chest. And I had to watch.

Her eyes looked directly at me, lifeless. Her skin already looked pale. Her blood was brighter than a human's blood usually is. It was less dull and it was almost metallic. It was like if I were to shine a flashlight on it, it would explode.

The hatch opened eventually and I jumped out. Hoping that someone or something would catch me.

The air pushing past me was almost painful. My stomach not being able to sit still, I almost threw up. I opened my eyes and saw that I was getting close to the ground and immediately let out a scream.

Just as I was about to hit the ground, I came to a sudden stop. It was painless, but the jerking movement did nothing to help my already sick stomach.

I looked over at Wanda who had gotten a hold of me with her magic and asked her to put me down. The second she did, I threw up.

"You good?" Wanda said in her thick accent.
