Chapter 22 - The Hospital

Hailey's POV -

"I'm sorry I-", Brandon ends what he had to say and continues.

"No..... J-Just shut up, you... are so fucking horrible!..."

"Hailey please I-" he tries to grab my hand but I quickly shove it away.

"Don't touch her you perv!", Ashley shouts and goes for him.

"Ok both of you stop.... Brandon just leave right now!"

"But! Please Hailey! I love you!", he shouts.

"I don't, not anymore", I say in a grim expression and press the button beside the bed to call the nurse.

...

I try my best to not cry as they pull Brandon away.

How could he do this to my best friend?

Was he that horrible?

I can't believe this...

I turn around to see Ashley...

Sitting on the bed with her head on her hands....

I hear sobs....
Is she crying? Omg

I quickly run towards her and hug her super tight.

"Ash.... Don't worry I'm here."

"I know" she continues to sob.

"I'll always be here for you, please Don't cry"

"It's just that... he was the only guy who you really loved... And I ruined it for you" Ash sobs even more.

"No! Ash I don't care about him! He did this to my best friend why would I even go with him? He's not worth it. Well not for me...
Or anyone else" I say as I look into the blank walls.

"He really doesn't deserve you..." Ash suddenly gets up and wipes her tears.

"I'm done crying for this shit.. Whatever happened just happened.."

"Let's go home now", she holds my hands and pulls me out of the hospital.

Before she leaves, she looks at this tall man with kind of little tiny grey strands around his hair, he looks like a 45 year old.

Why are they looking at each other like they've known for life?

Ashley catches me looking at her & the man and says something that literally throws me off hook.

"That's my Dad..."

...

"Brandon's POV"

"Don't touch me!"

I shove my hands away as the nurse tries to get me out of the hospital.

"Well young man, you're off your way"

The nurse says and closes the hospital door.

"Well fuck you bitch"

I kept walking and cursing myself because of what horrible things I've done....

Hailey's words kept repeating in my head....

"No..... J-Just shut up, you... are so fucking horrible!..."

She was upset... The hurt in her eyes... Ugh I've done enough.. It's better to just leave her alone forever.

I get in my car and drive off somewhere far far away.

The problem is... I don't even know where.
