Eliza (Book 1)

.+* Chapter 8 - Nothing *+.

Time went on, my depression destroying me but I didn't have time to be miserable, I need to be there for my friends and my boyfriend..

Eventually, Grim and I adopted Ellie and Zir. I was happy with that. 🙂

The little girl I saw before was my little niece Aurora and the adult behind her were her parents, Sofia and Star. Sofia and I became really close. I helped her through her pregnancy and helping to control her little crazy child.

Everything was perfect until around Christmas time. Zir became..what some might call 'Sick'. This was one of the visions I had...the glitch. It took over him and soon he spread it to Grim. It was me against them.

* Zir I know you're in there, you're better than this virus!

He didn't reply. Instead the glitches destroyed me, the pain felt like nothing to me anymore. I didn't know what to do, I opened a small time portal, sending my soul to Ellie because I saw my body turn into dust in a heartbeat.

* Eliza?!

Where Zir and I ended up? I had no idea. How we were going to get out? I had no clue.

* Zir!

I could tell he was tired or waiting for someone to find him. I wasn't leaving him any time soon so...

Ellie's View:
Eliza gave me her soul, I went back in time to her mother, her mother gave me a pendant and told me to find someone called...

Celeste? Oh perfect, Princess Celeste.

* My family's pendant...from the past?

I nodded, explaining the situation to her. She sighed. Celeste began to play a tune on her magic flute and casted a wish.

* Duplicate Ellie's soul, please!

My soul bursted out and there were so. She grabbed my main soul and the pendant was absorbed into it.

* The magic of those closest to you, you will be able to possess until you save them from danger. This is no joke Ellie so PLEASE use it wisely.

I winked, reassuring her I was very responsible!

* Don't let them down. You need to use Eliza's magic and go to the future, you need yourself to help you. If you can gain your own trust, you can combined your own magic with those close to you.

That was going to be easy. I took both souls back in and Celeste wished me the best of luck. I smiled.

I set Grim's time machine to the future and blasted at myself. And may I just say...the future is amazing!

* Ellie?
I turned around. Oh, it was me.

* What are you doing here?! Oh wait did the glitch-

I nodded. She gave me her soul right away.

* Bring it back when you're done, ok?

* Pfft, when do I ever let you down.

* Haha you'd be surprised.

I went back to the present. The glitches had spread. Sofia called me asking if I knew where Aurora was but Grim (had somehow unglitched himself) told me she had been affected by the glitches. Sofia came immediately, worried sick. I had to calm them down and fix this before it came to me and the others.

* We can save them if we just find a weakness of the glitches.

But, what could it be?

(Since I'm a noob and a forgetful child, I forgot to say that Eliza was mourning the death of her brother Dylan because when he saved her she thought he had died but he hadn't and she only recently found out he had died from no energy or motivation left as he was looking for her so yeah her magic was a little weaker and sad)
