Eliza's View:
My mother and I talked for hours then I left her to go back home. This new feeling of excess power was still striving through me."Five hours? You must've been deep in conversation, huh." Grim finished dishing out dinner for him, Zir, Corn and Tord.
* I haven't seen her in AGES, we had a lot to catch up on!
I grabbed a plate, thanking him for the food. Everything seemed normal, which I was happy with.
After a while, we all went to bed. I decided to read but after an hour had passed...I heard something. It was only a rustle but my senses picked it up in a heartbeat. I stood up and casted a spell and my eyes widened. My spells were good sure but...never this in-depth. There was a guy in a hood placing a gadget onto the door. I teleported outside silently.
* What are you doing?
He suddenly turned around with a gun - or so I thought - in his hand. I didn't waste any time to blast at him. He crashed against the wall, triggering the house alarm. He began to shoot but his aim was...questionable. And so were the bullets. They had a unique shape, flat almost. Grim and the others had woken up by now and he came outside to help.
* What kind of gun is that?!
Blast.
"It's a tranquil gun."
Dodge.
What was this guy's problem? A few moments passed and he grabbed me and shot it in my arm.
'You'll understand why I did this.' I heard him say before I woke up in a conference hall.
With the other Elizas.
* Uhhh...
* Shhh, it's starting!
A man walked on stage and stood behind the mic.
'Sorry for the wait, the odd one out was fighting me. You all know why you're here but this time, I'm proposing an idea that may appeal to all of you.'
Odd one out? I glared at him and he looked up right back at me.
'As you all may know, I've gotten multiple reports on one particular Eliza.'
My face came up on the screen.
* I-
'Raise your hand if you would like to just...say what your report was.'
Multiple raised their hands.
* She controlled her multiverse for 30 years! I believe her magic should be removed.
* She was the only one who voted to keep a villainous Eliza. She's clearly a villain herself!
* She's overridden essential spells on multiple occasions, she shouldn't be a witch!
Guards led me to the front.
'Well?'
* The controlling of the multiverse, I'll pay my price, but I'll be sure you're not the boss of that. I wanted to give that other Eliza a chance, she died soon after the vote we did. And I only override spells that need to be stopped.
'Let's face it Eliza, you need to understand how everybody felt when they lost someone important. Because of you, people took control of themselves only to find out their child had grown and their parents had died.'
* You think I don't understand how it feels to loose someone? I lost Ellie, my brother, my father, my-
'Mother? From what I've observed she's still alive.'
The guards dragged her out and she looked at me pleadingly.
* H-How could you do this?! We made a d-
'Silence woman. Eliza, why don't we get rid of everyone you care about so you can understand what others went through.'
* Being revengeful only makes you arrogant.
I froze time and woke up again. I was in a machine...?
'We weren't done with you.'
A cast a quick spell and the glass surrounding me shattered. There were guards all around this building, and they knew exactly who their target was.
'You're not going anywhere.'
Eliza, run! It's a trap, they set this all up!
RUN!
The hoodie guy is-
Their voices glitched out as a guard swung their hand to punch me. I casted a silent spell and blasted them away. I ran down multiple hallways hoping to find some sort of exit. I didn't have my phone...but I didn't have my glasses! I knew exactly who to call on this occasion.
* Friday, call Celeste.
I whispered as I hid in a dark room.[ * Eliza? What's u- ]
* You're Gina receive my location in a moment, I need yours and your sister's help.
I hung up, hearing blasts nearby.
'Check EVERY room.'
The doors nearby were being opened. I needed a plan. I grabbed a gun nearby and aimed it at the door, shaking.
I didn't want to kill anybody...
The door opened.
'She's here! Ma'am put the gun down.'
* Leave me alone! You have no right to do this!
The hooded man entered.
'I strongly suggest you listen. Put the gun down and follow us.'
* I'm not going anywhere with you.
'Tick tock, Eliza.'
Those words...those words weren't new. The voice suddenly became familiar.
No I don't wanna!
Tick tock Eliza, your phone time is up.
* ...Dad?!
He took his hood off and his eyes began to go red. My movements stopped being my own.
'I didn't want to do this.'
My eyes glowed people and it began to override his.
* Like father, like daughter.
He blasted and I teleported behind him and pushed him into the room and locked the door with a spell. I ran down the hallway and dropped the gun. I stopped to catch my breath.
'You're terrible in a fight.'
I jumped in surprise.
* How did you-
'You're not hard to sense.'
I crossed my arms.
* You wanted to get rid of mum.
'She's not a good person.'
* And you are!? You tried to taken my magic away!
'You have to learn your lessons.'
* And I have. Now leave me be.
I walked off but he hurried after me.
'I must say, you have a great boyfriend.'
I created a magic scythe and held it up to his neck.
* You do not bring Grim into this.
'Then let's see how truly independent you are.'
The scythe dissolved as soon as he laid a finger in it.
I could sense Celeste.
* I work in a team. I'll be independent when I need to be.
