Eliza's View:
I returned home, exhausted. I had spent the entire day helping Grim shut Ellie down for the rest of the day. She fought and fought, giving my bruises but it had to be done. Though I had to turn my frown into a smile when I noticed Player and Emily home.
'Hi Eliza!'
* Heya. :)
'Have you seen Tord?'
You'd sit down on the sofa and take a big sigh of...relief.
* I saw him yesterday, but he left after a bit.
'Ah, alright.'
I casted a spell trying to see when Ellie's memory completely faded but it was too hard to tell. It frustrated me..
'What's wrong?' Player asked.
* Ellie. She's forgotten all of us, and our relationship with her.
'How sad' Emily said.
* I don't know how to reverse it..
I went to pour coffee into two thermo-cups.
* She thinks I'm an enemy!
'Eliza- '
'Than make her think ur not her enemy!'
'You cannot reverse everything. It doesn't work like that' Emily said, unmoved.
* You'd be surprised.
'What happened to make her lose all her memory anyway?'
* Gaster made a machine to bring her back but only for the purpose of getting him souls. So she would become an Ellie of another timeline to have a genocide run for him. But each time, her memory would fade...And each Ellie told her an "Eliza" promised to save her but instead the Eliza abandoned them.
'Can't do much about that'
'Let's try and be friends with her then!'
* She's kinda...shut down right now; if we woke her up she'd probably start attacking us.
'I can trap her'
* Great, that'll be handy. We'll go in a bit...I'm tired.
They watched as I closed my eyes and fell to 'sleep'.
Pfft, imagine sleeping. Good use of silent magic.
* Oh hey Eliza!
Sofia and the others were playing a board game.
* Hey.
The mind verse has expanded a lot, thankfully. I went to sit down away from the others and turned on my laptop. Sofia came to sit with me after a while.
* Is everything okay Eliza?
* Yeah...I'm just trying to figure out something.
* Could I help in any way?
* Ellie's back.
Everybody turned to look at me.
* She's ALIVE?!
Sofia grabbed my sheets of paper right away, looking through them.
* Yeah...hey give those back they're your soul readings.
I continued typing and analysing them when Sofia began to talk again.
* Well? You would be much happier unless there was a problem.
* She's forgotten who we all are...and other Ellies told her that an "Eliza" abandoned them and they suffered because of it.
* Did you make promises?
* No...at least not that I remember. Trap!Tale, School!Tale, even War!Tale. They all had-
* Those are the names of forgotten and outcasted timelines.
Another Eliza said.
* Elaborate.
* A long time ago, before Eliza's control stuff, we all had a goal of helping unfortunate timelines.
I stood up.
* You promised to save them yet you never did.
* We have our own timelines to protect!
I began to argue with the other Elizas. How could they be so hypocritical?!
Sofia's View:
I watched as the argument got bigger and louder. I could barely hear myself think!
* THAT'S ENOUGH!
They all went silent.
* Right now, we need to focus on getting Ellie's memory back or she'll hate ALL of us. For once in your lives, put your hatred aside and work together! You were all put into a mound where you can meet up for a reason, so make it count.
Eliza disappeared, she must've woken up. The other Elizas seemed to listen to me, understand my intentions. The others rolled their eyes and went back to playing.
A few minutes passed and Eliza appeared with Ellie. Her eyes were purple while Ellie's was pink.
* Where are they doing?!
I asked.
* Don't go near them.
Another Eliza cast a spell to keep Eliza and Ellie away from us.
* Why n-
* Eliza is trying to fill Ellie with memories, Ellie is trying to fill Eliza with fear.
Eliza's View:
I saw everyone I love fall before me. Grim was screaming, asking me how I could betray him. But I couldn't give into it. I began to fill Ellie's kind with memories but soon enough the glitches began to work against me.
* What are they doing to her?!
I heard Sofia say.
Ellie's fear increased, my energy decreased. I was so close...so damn close.
I couldn't give up.
.....
...
.
There! The memories had finished. We both fell to the floor, the glitches hurting me. I used magic to hide them.
* Eliza! Ellie!
Sofia and the others came to help both of us.
Ellie's woke up and disappeared but I couldn't. I felt weak, powerless, numb.
* Eliza..? Eliza are you okay?
But they didn't need to know.
I took a deep breath.
* Yeah. Yeah I'm okay. 🙂
I got back up and woke up. Everybody was happy as Ellie's memory had returned. I smiled with the others.
You and I both know what this glitch is...and it's only a matter of time before you have no choice but to give in...
I had to look forward. I had to stay strong. At least for the people I cared about. I returned home before heading back to 'work'. I had to find a way to get Sofia back, get a way to monitor Ellie for at least a week, get this glitch solved and help the others.
Doable.
I was home alone so that helped me to write notes.
You're the reason why Sofia's soul is broken, why don't you give up your soul and let her have it? You don't deserve much.
That voice.
I mean, aren't you ashamed?
I could only take so much of it.
I will haunt you like how your actions continue to haunt others.
I just wanted peace...
You're the reason why there is NO peace.
* Would you SHUT UP?!
I slammed my pen into the table. Tears filled my eyes but I wiped them off. I didn't need sympathy from myself.
But my limit was close.
