Celeste's View:
I was in the study room writing notes when Victoria knocked on the door.* Celeste, can we talk for a moment?
* Yes sister, what's up.
* I think it's time you put the flute down and used your voice to use your magic.
(Celeste's voice is actually her magic source but it's overwhelming so she uses her flute)
* Victoria, you and I both know it wouldn't end well.
* We can train and eventually you can control it properly. But sister, you can't be afraid of your voice forever!
* No Victoria.
* Let's just give it one try, okay?
* Fine...
Eliza's View:
I was baking with Ellie when the lights flickered. Again and again. I hadn't seen that in a while. I casted a spell to stop them from flickering.* Hm, odd.
* Yeah very-
They started to flicker again. Seriously? There was a knock on the door.
* Eliza this is how horror movies begin, don't open the door.
* Are you scared?
* Me. A girl in which my soul fills people with fear. I am the thing people are scared of!
I opened the door and Celeste and came, angry. Victoria rushed in behind her.
* ELIZA, TELL MY SISTER TO STOP TRYING TO LET ME 'PRACTICE MAGIC'.
* I'm only trying to help, you can't always hide your voice.
* I DON'T CARE, IT'S NOT YOUR VOICE, IT'S MINE.
That would explain the light flickering. Ellie giggled to herself.
* Right guys why don't we-
The sisters continued to argue, ignoring my words. Ellie went back to baking and left me to deal with them.
* What if someone tries to take your voice and you don't have your flute on you?!
* AS IF SOMEONE WOULD DO THAT. MOST PEOPLE THINK MY MAGIC COMES FROM MY FLUTE YOU IDIOT!
* But not Everyone.
I stopped them both in time.
* Victoria, you shouldn't try forcing her to use her voice in that way if she doesn't feel comfortable. But Celeste, you can't hide this forever...one day it will get to the point where you'll regret not training.
I resumed them. They went silent.
* Celeste-
* This is why I wanted our parents back; they actually understood that this isn't easy for me. You'll probably get me to use my voice then just take it all away.
Celeste slammed the door shut as she left the house. Victoria looked down in guilt.
* I'm sorry for that...she was right.
* You were just trying to protect her.
Victoria left through a portal and it was back to Ellie and I. She put the cookies in the oven and sat down to play on her phone. I sat down to rest my eyes a bit.
Ellie, go and get your father, now.
What about my soul..
You'll have enough time to get there and back.
I...I can't just leave you alone with him!
I'll be okay.
You promise?
I promise.
.....
I opened my eyes suddenly to the sound of an explosion. The door closed and I got up. I ran outside to see Ellie battling Tord.
* When do you EVER take a break?! You backstabbing FREAK!
Ellie threw her scythe and he blasted it back at her; she caught it. Tord glared at me and he stopped attacking.
* Tord, I have you one last chance to leave Ellie alone.
He stepped down from his bot. It wasn't our Tord...it looked like-
//I am storyshift!Tord.\\
Right.
//You ruined my timeline.\\
It was a Tord affected by my control over time over those 30 years...
* Tord, I'm so-
//Sorry doesn't fix anything. Someone close to me...doesn't even know who anyone is.\\
You disgust me, Eliza.
* Tord I-
//So it's clear to everyone that you don't deserve a life of your own.\\
His bot aimed at me and I created a huge shield before it blasted at me. Ellie ran to me and we stayed behind the shield. It didn't stop. We had to get it contact with Grim. The guards near us were already down.
* Ellie, go and get your father, now.
* What about getting the people around us?
* You'll have enough time to get there and back, I'll keep them protected.
* I...I can't just leave you alone with him!
* I'll be okay.
* You promise?
* I promise.
She opened a portal and went, worryingly closing is behind her. I casted a spell, trapping the citizens around me in protection bubbles.
//You can't destroy me.\\
The blasts were getting unstoppable. I blasted back.
//You think you can stop me?\\
You may not think it, but he will.
* We don't have to fight Tord, let's just talk!
Those words made him angrier and he set his bot to auto-blast me and he got out, and began to walk towards me. I couldn't be scared...Grim and Ellie would be here any moment now. All I had to do was hold him back. I used magic to drag his soul back and teleported to my quiet place. The snow was colder and sly. The breeze froze and those around me ran and hid. Tord turned the corner and glared at me, practically eyeing me down.
* Tord you're going too far now! Please, just stop!
He ignored my words. The light still shine but he seemed to darken everything. He got out a gun. My heart stopped.
I hope you die~
You liar.
This is your fault.He aimed.
Everything happens for a reason, right? That's what you told Celeste.
He pulled the trigger and a pain surged through my chest. I stood still, looking into his hateful eyes.
"* ELIZA! "
Ellie and Grim said before everything went silent...then still...then black.
That satisfied me...you getting what you deserved.
Ellie's View:
Grim began to battle Tord and I ran to Eliza. She fell to the ground and her chest began to bleed into her shirt. I put her head in her lap as Zir ran over to us with Hornet. Tord was helping Grim battle a version of himself.We couldn't let her die...
I couldn't.
