April's View:
I zoned back in when Aurora had finished explaining it all to her uncle.

He looked me up and down.

"So without the wand, you possess no magic?" He asked me.

'We'll yeah but-'

"Aurora she's all yours." He returned back to doing work.

* I challenge you to a battle!

'What?'

* Well let's see how skilled you are!

'I-' and before I could react, a dangerous red streak appeared in her hair and she let out a mighty blast of fire magic.

I quickly dodged to the side.

'Y-YOU HAVE FIRE MAGIC?!'

* Sure.

She didn't stop with the attacks and I had no choice but to fight back.

I casted a water spell.

I large gush of water swarmed towards her but the red streak became a blue one and she enlarged my water attack, reflecting it back into me.

'EEK!'

I caught myself in the huge tsunami and raised my wand, desperately trying to get my head out of the water.

I quickly casted a spell and leak out of the water attack as it turned into ice. I landed on it and it shattered, its pieces falling into Aurora.

* Jeez that's cold!

Her streak turned red again and she warmed herself up.

'You never told me you had magic.' I crossed my arms and faced her.

* You never asked. In a fight, the villain won't tell you its magical abilities, you have to find out yourself.

'Well...you're not wrong.' I admitted, catching my breath.

She held my hand and teleported to what I could only assume was her home.

* Sorry it seems empty, we bought a second house just last week and haven't unpacked everything yet.

'May I help unpack?'

She smiled and nodded. I got out my wand and casted a spell:
'Warm and comfy
Nice and tidy
Unload quickly
Asking.......kindly?' I said, swirling my wand around.

* That's so cringey.

'Hey!' I exclaimed.

The boxes emptied themselves and the furniture happily placed themselves where they needed to be. Before you knew it, the house was done!

* Aurora, we're h-

^ What in the world-

'* Surprise!' We said, giving little jazz hands.

* You guys did all this today?!

* Yes mother dearest! Hard work, huh.

Her mum looked at the wand before looking back at me.

* And who's your new friend? 🙂

'My name is April, it's a pleasure to meet you!'

Eliza's View:
Sure I was tired, but I was determined to find my mother. For years on end we thought she was dead, it made sense for fate to look that way. I spent all night looking for newspaper articles but only one stood out to me.

Mysterious woman escapes from magic testing facility unexpectedly.

That was over forty (game) years ago. I read the article over and over again. I barely knew anything about my mother...after all we only separated when I was six years old. But I knew her magic...her abilities. They were somewhat similar to mine.
