Eliza (Book 1)

.+* Chapter 9 - Chaos *+.

Ellie's View:
I returned back seeing my friends in chaos. A good kind of chaos. Grim was squished behind a stand and the others were absolutely crazy. I looked at them and giggled leaving them to practically destroy themselves. I teleported to Eliza, she was at her brother's grave, sitting by it and talking to what I can only assume was his spirit.

* I'm alright brother, I found people who love me and protect me... you'd love em.

She sighed.

* I'm sorry I didn't come looking for you... I'm a horrible little sister.

She wiped her tears but kept a strong face.

* But someone important to me told me you'd want me to be happy.. you always did.

She laid her white rose by his grave. I walked up and sat by the other side.

What was I supposed to say-

Uhhhhhhhhhh.

* Did he look like you?
Eliza jumped, startled by my presence.

* ELLIE HOW DID YOU FIND ME?!

* Eek, sorry! Wanted to stay with someone calm. Everyone's being hyperactive at home.

She smiled, and began to tell me fun stories of their past. We went out together and came home, she dives into the sofa and fell asleep within a few seconds.

Eliza's View:
* How can you NOT blame her?!

Of course I joined in the middle of an Eliza argument.

* She was six!

Who were they talking about this time?

* So?! She had one job!

* Eliza your stupid mistake-

I stood up and glared at them.

* I would redo that mistake in a heart beat. I've seen going with mother only made us arrogant. Going with our brother made us realise how valuable life truly is.

If only yours was as valuable as you say.

* And so what! Choices are here for a reason and I know I'll get my happy ending, but it won't be over night.

You'll never get a happy ending, Eliza.

* But Eliza you must understand, you could've had everything. No glitch, no dying literally three times. We're happy, we've got a child, and Grim, and Zir and Ellie but we didn't suffer.

* And that's okay, I'll go through the consequences of my actions. So what if I go through challenges, I know I'll over come them.

They looked at me with disappointment. I didn't care what they thought. As long as I was humble.

They're disappointed because you're the worst Eliza to ever be alive.

* Don't you ever feel ashamed you don't walk the same paths as every other Eliza?

* We may take different routes but who said we won't reach the same conclusion?

The other Eliza sighed, looking pissed. I still didn't regret my decision.

Oh but you will, Eliza.

And boy was she right.

Sofia's View:
I picked up the phone and called Grim, feeling pretty positive.

* Heya Grim, how's Aurora doing there, is she behaving?

* Aurora? Didn't she come home to you?

* I thought she stayed with you guys after the glitch event...-

I hanged up the phone, opening a portal.

* Star I'll be home soon, going to visit Grim!

* Alright sweetie!

I stepped through busting through his door. Eliza was just waking up.

* We need to find her!

"Yes yes I've called a search for this timeline and Ellie's gone to look in other timelines."

Eliza looked exhausted. Had she even slept for long?

* What happened...?
She rubbed her eyes.

* Aurora's gone missing..
She stood up, apologising for her current state. Grim looked concerned, and I could see why. I asked him to step outside with me.

* What's up with Eliza?
I asked him, folding my arms. He sighed.

* Her brother died and she won't tell anyone.

* Oh...I'm sorry about that, he was technically your future brother in law..

Grim blushed and facepalmed. I wasn't wrong!

* Let's focus on finding Aurora, Eliza doesn't have to worry. 🙂

We shook hands on it and went to his lab, leaving Eliza with blankets and the TV on.

Aurora's View:
* Yeah, no thanks.

* Aurora we can get what we want now!

I crossed my arms, giving Victoria a silly face. Victoria was Celeste's older sister, and she was out for revenge. She clearly couldn't get enough of me.

* So what? You gonna possess me again like last time?

* Aurora we were THIS close to achieving our goal when that stupid Eliza ruined it all. We know her weaknesses, if we can get her caught up with too many things. We can get what we want!

* You're not wrong, she did ruin last time.

* And after that, haven't you noticed how many calls Grim gets from your Mum, she only trusts you with them.

* ...

* If you made one wrong move, she'd take your magic like that.

* ...You're right.

See, I had magic that formed very differently so the rest of my family and the past generations of them. My emotions are my power, my magic source. When I'm sad, water based magic...you get the point. My Father called it 'Elemental Emotion Magic', but oh well.

* Where do we begin.

Sofia's View:
Nothing. There was no trace.

"I've called Ink to look around other timelines." Grim said, putting his phone down.

I thanked him and teleported to his house.

* How are you feeling, Eliza?

* Me? I'm fine! Is everything alright? I could tell you were worried about something.

Eliza sat up, and I sat down next to her.

* Eliza, I know what happened, you can tell us...you don't need to hide it.

She smiled, questioning my strange choice of words.

* I'm sorry about the loss of your brother..

* ...

* I know how it feels to lose someone, I really d-

* At least you can get them back .+*in the afterlife*+.!

She began to lose her fake smile.

* That doesn't mean I've never gone through a loss, Eliza. You know we're always gonna be here for you.

* He died because of me, Sofia.

* No he didn't-

* YES HE DID.

She burst into tears. My bad-
I hugged, apologising. Grim walked through the door. I eyed him down and he silently walked back out.
