Ellie's View:
I sat down staring at the wall. All I needed was Eliza back...was there such thing as sanity slipping away? If there was, I couldn't feel it anyways. The others had gone out to train, I just closed my eyes. Eliza's list of things to do stated that I should find some form of meditation.But I couldn't.
I stood opposite Zir in the judgement hall. How did I-
* Ellie, leave.
But I couldn't.
* No.
I glared at him.
Ellie you have to stop this.
* What would mum say about this.
The hate in my soul burned.
* As if you cared about her.
Ellie, don't do this.
A pink aura spread to the pillars and they crushed to form boulders as I threw them at Zir. He dodged. We began to attack. The mood in the room darkened as we fought, no empathy whatsoever.
I knocked him into the wall and grabbed my scythe.
* You should've given up when we started, brother.
I grabbed him and punched him hard and he cringed in pain. I kicked him and he fell back onto the floor.
* Any last words? =)
Ellie, look out!
Zir teleported as I got knocked right into the wall in front of me. I turned around to see someone else. A helper of Zir.
I don't want you to get hurt...
Eliza's magic swirled around me as her voice became more glitchy. I began to attack but the fight was severely bias. I felt tired...weak but I couldn't lose.
This nightmare would never end.
I stopped time and made Zir face his partner in crime. Time resumed and at the last second, the blasted went somewhere else. He grabbed my hands and smashed me into the ground.
Ellie.
My soul pounded in pain and panic.
Ellie!
I have no energy left...I wasn't going to win at this rate.
* ELLIE!
Sofia yelled as I opened my eyes suddenly, breathing shallowly. Her, Aurora, and Star all looked at me with concern.
* Are you alright Ellie? You're...crying..
That couldn't be possible-
I touched my face and my fingertip felt wet. Sofia hugged me tightly. I didn't feel sad.* I feel fine.
I wiped away the tears. None of this made sense.
I just wanted Eliza back.
Eliza's View:
I whistled as calming music played in the room. Dylan and I were playing a ghost game of chess. Grim has returned back to work to check up on everything. Nurses came in every hour to check my vitals, but they never changed. After Sofia had called Grim, a doctor had informed him that I had a pulmonary embolism. This was why I wasn't recovering.That was a week ago.
I was confused as to why I hadn't woken up. If I was getting better, why hadn't I woken up?
* Checkmate!
Dylan exclaimed.* Pffft.
I smiled as he set the game up again.* Hey, Dylan?
He looked up.
* You don't know all my powers, right?
He shook his head.
* But as long as you're responsible with them, I don't mind. 🙂
* And what if I wasn't responsible?
* Well someone would have to keep an eye on you, right?
Something clicked inside of me. Could Dylan be the reason why I wasn't waking up?
* I should've been awake by now.
I looked at him and his smile disappeared.
* I dunno.
* Dylan don't lie to me! Are you the reason why I'm not waking up?
He grabbed my hand and refused to let go.
* Because it's better for everyone.
He teleported us to a blank room.
* Undo whatever spell you put on me, I want to wake up!
* You're not going anywhere. And the longer you remain as a ghost, the more it'll be permanent.
I tried teleporting but my magic wasn't working. How long did I have left until it was permanent?! He let go of me and I slapped him hard in the face. Dylan used magic, forcing me to kneel before him.
* I searched for years to find you. I died for you. You owe me this more than you owe everybody you made suffer.
What had my brother become? He used to be sweet and warm hearted. As time went on his anger rose. He had turned into a monster of a brother.
* Wake me up, now.
He let me loose and teleported away. There was a timer on the wall.
Ten days.
There was no way to contact the outer world, I needed to think of a plan... and fast.
Ellie's View:
Sofia handed me a glass of orange juice.* How are you feeling..?
* Sofia you know I don't feel.
* After what I saw, I disagree.
She sat down and discussed my non existent feelings with me. Half an hour passed an Sofia went back home.
I was bored.
I teleported to Celeste's castle.
Victoria's View:
Ellie knocked on the door and I opened it. She waltzed in.* Is everything okay Ellie?
* Yeah everything's fine. Where's Celeste?
* She's asleep right now-
Ellie sat down on one of the sofas.
* I heard she got upset after she sang at the hospital. Do you know why?
* I dunno, Eliza wouldn't tell me why.
Ellie turned around with a confused look on her face.
* Eliza?
Oops.
* Oh did I say Eliza? No no I meant-
Ellie teleported us to Eliza's hospital room.
* Ellie I can't-
* Ask her if she feels like she's getting better.
I looked around the room but Eliza wasn't here, just her ghost brother resting on a chair...but her presence was strong towards the north.
* C'mon.
I held Ellie's help and teleported, getting closer to where I could sense Eliza. We entered another timeline. It was a dead timeline (destroyed by an anomaly such as Ellie or a virus). We tried to open the ruin doors but it was completely shut off.
* Eliza...are you in there?!
I waited for a response.
* Is someone there...?! Victoria?
* I'm here with Ellie, how can we get you out of here?
* I don't know but if we don't find a way to get me back to my body in the next ten days, I'm gonna be a permanent ghost! Dylan is behind all of this.
We had to work fast if we wanted to save Eliza.
