Once me and Tionne made it home from our amazing date I saw my parents sitting in the living area watching TV
Me-(Walks into the living area)
Well hello my beautiful parentals
Mom&Dad-(Smiles) Hey babygirl
Me-Was Rozanda asleep when yall left the hospital
Mom-Yeah her and Ja'Kelton tired out so we left them to rest but we will be picking them up in the morning
But anyway where have you two been all day
Me-(Smiles hugely)A date!
Dad-Well as big as that smile is your wearing on your face can only mean you had a great time
Me-Uhmm well Mom and Dad It was more than just a great time
Me and Tionne have something to share with you both
(Pulls Tionne closer to me)
Mom&Dad-Ok what is it
Me-Well go on Tionne and tell them
Tionne-(Looking extremely nervous) Well Mom and dad (playing with her fingers)
Me-Tionne asked me to marry her(jumping in to save Tionne)
Mom&Dad-What! OH MY GOODNESS!!!
My parents couldn't contain their excitement
Jumping up and hugging us both and congratulating us
My mom started crying as soon as I showed her the ring
Mom-Oh babygirl I'm so happy for you and you Tionne
(Hugs Tionne tight) thank you so much for loving my sweet daughter and babygirl thank you for giving me a bonus daughter
I love you both so very much
Me&Tionne-We love you too mama
Dad-Well ladies when are yall wanting to tie the knot
Tionne-Well Mom and Dad I was actually thinking of waiting until after graduation so sometime after that would that be ok
Mom-Yes that would be absolutely perfect because it will give me plenty of time to plan out everything for you two
Me-(Hugs my mom) That's very sweet of you Mom but you do know you don't have to right
They do have people for that
Mom-Yes I do know babygirl but I want to do it for my sweet babygirl because this is a dream come true for me
So don't worry about a thing because mama has it all under control ok
Me-Ok Mommy(kisses her cheek)
Mom-But what you can do is start looking for you a dress and Tionne a suit
Me-Ok Mama I can handle that
Dad-So what are your colors
Tionne-Silver, White and my beautiful baby favorite color Purple
Mom-Awe(tearing up) that's going to be so beautiful
I already have so many ideas
Me-And I trust you with everyone
(geeks up) this is so exciting!
Dad-Yes it is and I look forward to walking you down the aisle and giving you away to this incredible young lady(hugs Tionne)
Me-(Hugs both my parents) Awe I love you mom and dad and I truly appreciate this

Me and Tionne hugged my parents a little more and then went upstairs to our room as we both was smiling from ear to ear
Me-Oh my goodness baby I can't believe we are getting married
Oh baby I just love you so much(grabs Tionne and kisses her lips softly)
Tionne-Mmm(pulls away) Damn your kisses baby
But I love you too my beautiful and I can't wait to spend forever with you(tears up)
You really just make me so happy baby
Me-(Wipes her tears) Awe baby you really make me so very happy too(pulling her in for another kiss)
We then entered into a very hot and intense makeout session that was soon interrupted by Tionne's phone ringing in which she pulled away to answer it
Tionne-Hello
?-Hi Tionne
Tionne-(Looking confused)
Who is this and how did you get this number
?-Tionne it's your father and I have some bad news baby
Tionne-(Gets an attitude)
How the fuck you get my number dad and why the hell are you calling me
Tionne's dad-Look Tionne that's beside the point and I know your very angry with me as you should be but I really do have some bad news and it's about your mother
Tionne-(Gets concerned very fast) Dad what is it
What's going on with my mother
Tionne's Dad-Im so sorry baby (breaks down)
Tionne-(Getting more concerned) Dad what is it
Tionne's Dad-Im sorry I have to tell you like this Tionne but she's gone baby
Your mother passed away last night in her sleep
As soon as those words was said to Tionne she dropped her phone and completely passed out
Me-(Trying to wake Tionne up)
Baby(shaking her) baby, Tionne wake up baby please wake up
Tionne's Dad-(Still on the phone) Hello Tionne are you there baby
Me-(Picks up the phone) What did you say to her because she has went completely unconscious
Tionne's Dad-I am so sorry is she ok
Me-I don't know because I can't get her wake up so what did you tell her(still shaking Tionne)
Tionne's Dad-That her mom just passed away last night in her sleep
Me-Are you sure and I thought you were in jail so how would you know
Tionne's Dad-I am in jail but she's still my wife so they had to contact me to let me know
Me-OH! NO! TIONNE! (SCREAMING) TIONNE!!!
Next thing I know both my parents came running up the stairs into our bedroom
Mom-Whats going on babygirl (Looking at Tionne passed out on the floor)
Me-(Fully crying)She won't wake up mommy
I can't get her to wake up
Dad-What happened babygirl
I didn't say anything and just handed my dad Tionne's phone as me and my mom continued trying to wake up Tionne
My dad talked to Tionne's dad to find out what happened and once Tionne's Dad told him he just hung up the phone and picked Tionne up and carried her into the bathroom and put her in the shower and ran straight cold water all over her until she woke up screaming
Me-(Hurries and turns the shower off)
Oh my God baby are you ok
She said nothing but just broke down into heavy tears
Me-(Grabs her out the shower wrapping a towel around her)
Oh baby I'm so sorry
Hey mom and can you give us a minute so I can get her out of these soaken wet clothes please
Mom&Dad-Sure of course babygirl
Dad-But call us if you need anything ok
Me-Ok Dad thank you
Mom-And I will be back to check on her ok
Me-Ok mom and can you please bring up some peppermint tea
Mom-I sure can babygirl
Me-Thanks
Mom and dad left out of the room and I locked the door behind them and fully undressed Tionne
Dried her off and put her on some pajamas and then blow dried her hair and put her in bed
She cried the entire time and all I could was hold her and let her tears fall down on my chest while softly rubbing her back and kissing her forehead
Eventually my mom brought up the tea in which I had forgotten all about and I hated I had to move because I had to unlock the door
My mom then brought in the tea and on her way out kissed Tionne on the cheek and left out closing the door behind her
Me-Baby do you want to drink some tea to warm you up some more
Tionne-(Still crying and Shakes her head no)
So I then just got back in the bed pulling Tionne back on my chest while again rubbing her back and kissing her forehead
We laid like that for 5 hours straight until she finally fell asleep
As she slept on my chest I just stared down at her and was looking now at her very puffy cheeks and swollen eyes from her crying so hard and for so long
My heart just broke into millions of pieces for her because her and her mom were finally turning a new page in their relationship
Tionne was actually going over to her moms condo and was spending real time with her
And it was making me so very happy because it was bringing out so much real joy in Tionne that it made me so very proud of her
Because the effort she was putting into getting closer to her mom was paying off
We always knew her mom was sick but not that sick
Me-(Whispers in her ear) Awe my poor baby I love you so much(kisses her cheek)
Now she really didn't have either parents because her mom had finally put her dad in jail for all the years he abused her and Tionne and Tionne's brother
She actually kept proof which was kept in the back of her family photo album
My thoughts were interrupted by Tionne calling my name
Tionne-Za
Me-(Still looking down at Tionne) Yes baby
Tionne-My stomach hurts can you rub it baby please
Me-(Kisses her cheek) Yes baby I will rub your tummy just turn all the way over for me
Tionne turns over and I begin to rub her tummy
Tionne-(Starts crying again)
Baby why my mommy
Why did it have to be her
Me-Oh baby(wiping her tears and kisses her cheek) I don't know baby but just know baby she isn't suffering in any type of way anymore
Tionne-I know baby but everything was just starting to get good between us again
Me-I know boo but just know nothing will ever be able to take the new memories and time you were able to create and spend with her
Tionne-I know baby but she was going to be my maid of honor and she was the one who told me that I was ready to purpose to you and stop being scared and just do it
And she's the one that got everything set up at the restaurant for us and not only that baby she already paid for our wedding and honeymoon
Me-(Shocked) Oh my goodness baby She did
Tionne-(Shakes her head yes) And now she's not going to be apart of any of it(cries harder)
Me-Oh baby I'm so sorry
(Pulls her back into my arms and on my chest)
It was a long night with Tionne crying nonstop
