My phone rung waking me up

Me-Well what's going on(getting out of the bed to go into the bathroom so I wouldn't wake up Chase or Tionne
Mama-It's Ro's mom, She's not near you is she
Me-No ma'am, she's upstairs, now what happened ma(getting anxious)
Mama-Well remember when you asked your dad to get your uncle to look into her mom's and brother's case

Mama-Well they did kill that man and was sentenced to life in prison, but her mom freaked out about it and tried fighting the police and was shot
Me-What!(holds my mouth)Mom no, your not telling me she's dead

Me-(Now crying)No mommy, no, oh my goodness, how do I tell Ro
Mama-If you can't then I will come to tell her, it's not going to be easy, but she needs to know

I'm guessing I wasn't as quiet as I thought I was being because Tionne walked into the bathroom looking confused and concerned at the same time
Tionne-Baby what's going on, why are you crying (squats down in front of me wiping my face)
All I could do was hand her the phone

Mama-Oh hey Tionne baby, how are you, she didn't wake you did she
Tionne-Hey ma and I'm good, and sorta, I heard her crying so I came to see what was going on
Mama-Well I just found out Ro's mom was shot and killed by police after court yesterday because she freaked out over the verdict and became violent and started fighting the police
Tionne-Oh my goodness (holds her chest)
Mama-Yeah it shocked me too but we have to figure out a way to tell Ro
Tionne-Ok uhm, maybe I can do it
Mama-Are you sure Tionne
Tionne-Yes ma'am, since I do know how it feels to lose your mom
Mama-Ok but I will be coming by tomorrow to check on her and you and Za, and everything else
Tionne-Ok Ma
Mama-Ok baby, I love y'all and please help Za to calm down
Tionne- We love you to mama, and ok I will
Mama- Ok Tionne, bye sweetie
Tionne- Bye mama (hangs up)
Me-Oh my goodness, what are we gonna do
Ro will not handle this well (still crying)

Tionne-(Kisses me) Come on, lets get back to bed and try to get back to sleep(pulls me to stand up)

We went and got back in bed with me putting Chase back on my chest and Tionne wrapping her arm around us both
After attempts of trying to go back to sleep
I gave up and turned on the tv and being careful not to wake Tionne and Chase, and decided on a movie that was already playing, and before I knew it the sun was up and my stomach dropped, and soon tears fell from my eyes once again waking up both Chase and Tionne in which Chase was between confused and concerned but before she could say anything Tionne sent her to her room to watch tv
She then pulled me onto her chest and just held me tight as I cried
Not sure how long I had been crying and laying on Tionne's chest but I finally calmed down and took a deep breath looking up at Tionne who was rubbing my back and putting soft kisses on my forehead
Me-Baby(raspy voice)
Tionne-(Looks down at me)Yes my love
Me-How am I going to tell her
This is going to tear her to pieces
I mean no her and her mom wasn't close but they were beginning to make progress when that man went back to jail
And how she was just crying about not knowing what was going on not that long ago (sighs)baby what am I gonna do

First you don't have to do this alone,plus mom's coming over and second we are gonna have to just be here for her as best as we can
Just like how yall was here for me when my mom died that I'm still dealing with day by day

Me-Ro will become unhinged just like she did when her dad died
She completely went off the deep end to where she was even using drugs
She overdosed twice and almost died both times
I'm so scared Tionne because now she's married with a son and I don't want her doing anything that's going to make her lose that

We then both got out of the bed and put on our robes and went to go upstairs to talk to Ro
But to our surprise she was right in the kitchen cooking which made me tear up and grab Tionne who took the lead and went into the kitchen
Tionne-Morning Ro(trying not to sound as if something is wrong)
Ro-(Smiles big)Morning boo, how are you this morning, and where my other 2 girls at
Tionne-I'm fine, and Chase is in her room playing, and Za is in the living area in which she needs you to come so she can talk to you about something
Ro-(Looking confused)About what exactly
Tionne-Just come with me and see(turning off the stove and grabbing Ro's hand)
They then both walk into the living area and just as they were about to sit down our doorbell rang and I immediately knew who it was and my heart dropped
Me-Baby can you get that please (trying hard not to cry)
Tionne-Yes baby (heads to the door to answer it)
Ro-Za, what's going on babe, are you ok
Me-Yeah boo, I'm fine, just have something I need to tell you

Just as I started to tell Ro, my mom walks in
Mama-Morning my babies(hugs me and then Ro)

Just then Ruben came running down the stairs trying to see what's going on
He see's screaming and crying and runs over to her and pulls her into his arms and holds her tight
Ruben-What's wrong baby
Ro-(Screaming) My mom is dead!! My mom is dead!! My mom is dead!!!(breaks down crying even more)
Ruben-Fuck baby(tears falling)I'm so sorry baby, I'm so sorry (hugs her tighter)

She then pushes away from Ruben and takes off out the door
Me-Shit! I knew this would happen(runs after her)
Ro! Come back baby!(picks up my speed)
She didn't stop running, but I did finally catch up with her and immediately grabbed her and just held her super tight as we went down to the ground as she continued to scream and cry
After about 20 minutes I was finally able to get us up and back inside the house
Once we got back in the house Ruben went to reach for her but she pulled away from him
Me-It's ok, I got her bro
Ruben-No let me, it's my duty to see and stand with my wife in any situation or circumstance no matter what
Mama-That's true son but Za been with Ro during something like this before and knows what to do
So just give her a minute and then you can attend to Ro ok

I got Ro upstairs and into a hot bath as I sat in the bathroom with her as she cried, praying over her and comforting her by holding her hand
After 15 minutes she was ready to wash up and get out in which I left out and let her do
She got herself out, dried, and oiled up, and then dressed
She then came into the room where I was sitting in one of the chairs they have in their room and sat down next to me
Ro-Za(tears falling)I don't want to end up spiraling so I'm really going to need your help because I have no idea what to do or how to feel about this
Both parents gone , my only brother in prison,
This shit is to much and to heavy to carry

Now I'm going to let you rest and bring you up some hot peppermint tea and a snack ok

I then kissed her forehead and left out
Soon as I got downstairs I sent Ruben up
I then went into the kitchen to make her tea and snacks

Me-Calm for now, but not sure it will last(sighs) this is so crazy(tears up)her reality came true, and now she has neither parent(starts crying)
Tionne-(Pulls me into her)Shh baby don't cry (kisses my forehead)
It's going to be ok baby(rubs my back)we just have to really be here for her ok
Because I know exactly how she feels, but she will make it through this ok
Me-(Bury my face in her chest)Ok
Tionne-(Kisses my forehead again)Why don't you go lay down and I will take this up, get Chase situated for the day and then come tend to you
Me-Thank you baby but I can't because we have Ja'Kelton to look after

It's been taken care of, mom has him, now go lay down please

I then leave out the kitchen and went and laid down
And I'm guessing I was really tired from not going back to to sleep earlier because soon as I did lay down I was out like a light
