We finally made it to the hospital and I then hurried and grabbed Tionne out of the car walking her into the emergency room immediately yelling for help
2 nurses hurried over and looked at Tionne's hand and grabbed a wheelchair and wheeled her straight to the back as me and Ro followed while my mom once again filled out the information and eventually was brought back where we were when she was done
Soon after another nurse came in and said they needed to do some X-rays to see how much damage has been done to her hand
So I went with them while Ro and my mom stayed back in the room
Now you think she was screaming and crying when my mom was trying to take care of her hand, but no that was nowhere near compared to the screaming and crying that was coming out of her during the X-rays
I mean she was screaming so hard and loud that sounds literally stop coming out of her but finally they got done and let me wheel her back to the room to wait for the doctor
Once we got back to the room I got a chair and grabbed her and sat her in my lap as she rested up against my chest putting her face in the crook of my neck and continued to cry
Tionne-(Hoarse voice)This shit hurts so bad baby(crying really hard)
Me-(Rubbing her back) I know baby but the doctor will be here soon
It seemed like the more her hand throbbed the harder she cried
Her hand was now severely swollen and red and hot to the touch with big wounds from when she was fighting with Derrick and a couple of her punches were on the concrete whenever Derrick would dodge them
So you can say she fucked up her hand pretty badly
We were in the room almost an hour before the doctor came in finally

Doctor-Well it seems that Ms. Watkins has some severe damage to her hand that requires surgery to fix
Me-What kind of damage
Doctor-Some nerve, and tissue and muscle damage, her bone structure is shattered so we will have to rebuild her hand with metal plates and screws in order to save her hand completely and with the nerve damage her hand will still be functional but won't be the same as holding things,writing, etc, but however she can get some physical therapy in order for it to be at least back to 80% of use
Tionne-I don't care what you have to do doctor just get me out of all this fucking pain
Mom-Tenese since your in pain I'm gonna let that one slide but watch yourself ok
Tionne-Sorry Mama(putting her face back in the crook of my neck)
Doctor-Well we can go ahead and get you ready ok and the nurse will be in to help you get changed and put in your IV for pain ok

Doctor-Your welcome and I will see you in a bit Ms. Watkins
Soon the nurse came in and got Tionne ready for surgery and took her straight to it
It was a long ass 4 hours
Which it was now 2am in the morning and we all was tired as hell and so my mom sent Ro home because Ja'Kelton was becoming very fussy and so my dad came to pick them up to take them home and then came back and sat with me and my mom

Me-No not yet but I hope it will be one soon
Dad-So how bad is her hand
Me-Well she has nerve, tissue and muscle damage plus shattered bones that they are going to have to rebuild with metal and screws, so what does that tell you

Soon the doctor came to give us an update in which we all stood when he made his way over to us

Doctor-(Smiles) It went great and yes she's ok in which she asked for you right away once she woke up and so if you will follow me I will be happy to take you to go see her

I then turned and followed the doctor to Tionne's room and ran straight in

Once out the room I went back to my parents and told them they could go in and see Tionne while I looked for her doctor
Once I found the doctor I had him follow me back to Tionne's room so Tionne could see when she will be discharged

Doctor-Well lucky for you it will be this evening after you have your first physical therapy session

Doctor-Sure no problem Ms. Watkins and I will send in your nurse to help with the pain
The doctor left out and sent the nurse right in to give Tionne her pain meds and to help reposition her hand and helped her get more comfortable
Once she was done she left out and I then sent my parents home and stayed with Tionne all the way until she was discharged
I was asleep in Tionne's bed since she had to go do physical therapy
Next thing I know is I feel some warm breath on my neck and then a wet tongue tracing my ear

Once I helped her get dressed and ready to go I then called my mom who picked us up and went to get Tionne's medications and some food and then home
