He had apparently set up a lovely picnic near a river in the countryside. There would be no snow, thank god, considering my stomach was to big for my armour now. I couldn't shape it around anymore, it seemed my stomach just kept growing and growing over the last 2 weeks. I was round, a solid round and I had spent some time in my library just reading stuff I needed to know.

"Hey baby, you ready?" I heard a vice, and I zoned back into the real world. I stood up from my steps and Kingsley ran up to Techno's feet. I smiled at the bright smile that Techno had on his face as he stroked Kingsley's brown fur.

"Im ready." I said with a smile. Techno walked up to me, his cape swishing side to side slowly in the wind, making him lot a lot more powerful than he was. He leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on my cheek, my heart warmed. I was overly-emotional this week, and I spent a lot of time crying over small things, happy or sad.

He leaned further down and placed a gentle kiss on my protruding stomach, then he took my hand and we were walking. I had a little back pack over my long white dress which surprisingly fit over my stomach. In the back pack was a few books about pregnancy, and snacks. I had no idea what food Techno had prepared but I was nervous to see it.

"How you been feeling?" He asked gently as he helped pull me up a small hill with a few tired chuckles escaping my mouth.

"Tired and heavy. I want this baby out of me to be honest." I chuckled as we got to the top of this hill, and he laughed too. We walked down the hill and continued our journey slowly, laughing and making jokes, and throwing random sticks we found for Kingsley.

The river came into sight after a few more minutes, and the rushing water was sounding. I smiled at the rushing water splashing over the big rocks, it was so blue. It reminded me of George's blue shirt, and I smiled brighter. I would like to come here with George, I think he would really like it here. We followed the river to a nice patch of grass.

On the green grass, I noticed a blue blanket to match the river not to far from us. There was no flowers in this area, but instead replaced by massive spruce trees which could give small mountains a run for their money. I liked this place, the rushing water, and the minimal but loud birds. It was serene here, away from all the chaos of the SMP. Away from all the fighting and arguments.

"I call this the serene river." Techno muttered as he threw the final throw for Kingsley into the shallow part of the river.

"Shit name. True, but still shit." I chuckled and Techno laughed as well before throwing blades of grass at me, "I want to call it...The Artic Brook. So that way, it can still belong to us."

I looked at Techno and he smiled softly at me, his teeth tutted out more than usual and his scarred lip became even more beautiful. I liked looking at him, sometimes I wonder how I cope without seeing his face for days at a time. It was so tranquil to just admire him. His hair was getting long, he was practically sitting on it now and I smiled as he pulled it over his shoulder.

"Can I cut your hair a little shorter?" I asked softly, I was hoping he would say yes but I wasn't sure. He had had long hair for so long now. Yet, he nodded and criss crossed his legs. I sat behind him and he pulled out some shears for his hair. I held the heavy metal in one of my hands, and then his hair in the other, "I reckon, shoulder length."

"NO!" He said quickly, and turned around to see my smirking face. He rolled his eyes and laughed before turning back around and we sat in silence as I figured out how much of his hair to cut off without it being too much. Eventually had 2 inches in my hand, the amount where the shortest hair finished. His hair didn't grow straight but if I cut it perfectly it would finally be straight.

I heard the snipping of hair before I even told my fingers to cut it. The hair fell onto the blanket below, and Techno's pink hair was finally straight and a little bit shorter. I put his hair over his shoulder and then picked up the cut bits and tied it with a little ribbon. I sat back down in my original spot and watched Techno run his scarred hands and ringed fingers run through his hair.

"Thank you. Now, what do you want to eat?" He asked as he opened up the random basket that had been sitting at the every edge of the blanket this whole time. He pulled out a full chicken, and then some cooked salmon. My eyes widen, the food actually looked good. Techno didn't cook much, but the times he had made soup was enjoyable.

"Ooo, can I try the salmon?" I asked, and he nodded. He put both plates down, and then pulled out drinks and snacks so it was a proper picnic. I smiled at the amount of energy and thought he had put into this and he was definitely getting back into my good books.

We sat and ate for an hour, and talked about a lot of things. We fed Kingsley and I watched the two of them play for a little while. I pulled out one of the books from my little back pack and sat reading it where I last left off.

"Okay, read it out. I could use some tips since I wouldn't know where to start." He said as he watched me. I smiled.

"Once you get to the second trimester one thing becomes very clear. Your bladder is your baby's bouncing ball. You will need to go pee – the moment you finish going to the restroom...this is true." I said with a small smile, although needing to go to the bathroom every few minutes is a bit annoying, it was also something I would look back on and find funny.

"Jesus, how's that been for you?" He asked, and by his eyes I could tell he was genuine in asking for my well-being.

"I mean, I can handle it. I don't mind the constant ache on my bladder, it's going to be something that im going to look back on and find funny I think. It's always a laugh when I have to run to the bathroom." I chuckled and Techno smiled. He shuffled closer to me to see the book, and I read out more.

"ᴇɴᴊᴏʏ ʏᴏᴜʀ ᴘʀᴇɢɴᴀɴᴄʏ (ᴀɴᴅ ʏᴏᴜʀ ʙᴏᴅʏ). There will be times during your pregnancy that you just wish it was over. Love your growing body. Feel the tiny flutters turn into massive kicks in the ribs and thank God for it. Your body is incredible for what it can do during this amazing and fleeting time in your life."

"Its true. Your body is beautiful." Techno said as he moved the book and rested his head on my stomach. I smiled, I couldn't wait for it all to be over but something better was going to come out of it and frankly I couldn't wait to see Techno hold his child.

I hoped the SMP, the fighting and everything would calm down for a while so I could raise our baby in peace. Just for a little while...
