We walked closer to the Museum, and it was my first time seeing the inside and what it displayed. I had seen Eret working on it a few weeks ago and it seems he made immense progress with it and I was actually excited to see the inside. Passed the giant polished white marbled columns was the open doorway of the Museum and as soon as you walked in, L'Manburg's old hotdog van was inside.
An exact replica stood in the middle of the giant room. The top on fire like the good old days and the wheels and the door perfect. We walked further inside and Wilbur displayed his surprise and happiness of seeing good old L'Manburg. In the corner of the Museum were the walls which were built around the L'Manburg to keep our territory and in the other corner was a replica of the Egg.
Wilbur ran around looking at everything, Tommy following him with groans and anger. I opened the door to the van and it surprisingly opened and was exactly the same on the inside. I smiled as I walked in, it smelt different, it smelt new, it no longer smelt of drugs or sweaty people. I remember the first time I had walked in, and it was after I had joined L'Manburg. I remember how Wilbur called to me and told me we had been send a declaration of War by Dream and the others. Tommy and Wilbur then walked in and I was disrupted from my memories.
"It was us man! It was the business. Will, WILL! It was like we were a family!" Tommy shouted and Wilbur rolled his eyes and looked out the van windows.
"We were family Tommy...we were. But you know, you just didn't have the balls to follow me..." Wilbur said as he turned to exit the van.
I don't know if I believed Will when he said we were like a family. If he could so easily betray 'Family' the way he did, then he could do worse things to anyone. It was a scary thought to think someone could be so mean, to create something that made people family then destroy it without looking back.
"YOU BLEW UP OUR FUCKING HOME!" Tommy shouted back as we exited the van.
"We're leaving it in the past Tommy, we're friends."
"Some of us find it harder to leave it in the past Will..." I said as I looked at the replica of the Egg, "Some of us were more damaged by what you did."
Again, I was ignored. Wilbur looked at the other wall where someone had hung up a photo of Ranboo as a joke. I heard Tommy telling Wilbur about Ranboo and a small smile painted itself onto my face at Tommy's kind words despite their rocky start. Speaking of the devil, Ranboo was walking alone outside the Museum. Tommy shouted to him and all 3 of us walked down to him.
"Have you two actually ever met?" Tommy asked and Wilbur shook his head.
"Um no, I came here after he um...died." Ranboo said, and Tommy nodded before whispering into his ear.
"Ranboo, I wanted to say sorry." Wilbur said and Ranboo looked at me with wide eyes and I shrugged.
"I mean um...for what?"
"I don't know man, you tell me. Everyone I deem to meet has this deep intrinsic feeling of disgust towards me. Jack Manifold liked me, I could feel it in his stare. You don't have that, I could tell you're a good guy. I just wanted to say sorry and I wanted to get to know you better."
I was starting to become bored and tired, the sky was already changing colours despite it feeling like it had only been an hour since I met up with the 2 of them. The three of them talked as I fazed in and out of reality.
I missed Technoblade. So in my head I started planning for tomorrow, which consisted of me taking Technoblade out so we could spend time together.
