41. Reverse game

After a week

You put the book on the shelf which you were holding in your hand and picked another. Swiping few pages you walked to the chair and sat. Pulling the chair with your body you reached near the desk.

You were in study room for more than 2 hour. Jungkook and Jimin came to meet Taehyung and right now they were discussing something in the room with Taehyung, which you didn't have any idea about. Taehyung wound didn't have heal completely but now he didn't need a support for his body. he could walk and do his essentials by his own.

You didn't go to the university after coming back from hospital but you need to complete your assignment because Taehyung already have discussed with you that you are completing your graduation.

Scratching your temple with pen, you inhaled deeply and your mind again went back to complete all the assignment, which were pending.

You were so busy, your eyes focused on the book as you flipped the pages minute by minute.

But suddenly the door swept open and you rose your head to look at the person but as soon as your eyes collided with the person. Your eyes moved back to the book ignoring the person, completely as there was no one.

Jimin smirked at your behaviour and stared putting his steps toward you. He halted reaching to the desk and cleared his throat to gain your attention but you didn't even move a single part of your body.

Jimin waited for a moment but seeing no any response from you for his presence, he bites his lower lip and said "divorce Taehyung" your heart skipped a beat and your eyes suddenly raised with your head. Your eyebrows scrunched up.

"Divorce him, Yn" he repeated

You shrugged his word off as if you didn't care what he was saying.

Holding the pen between your fingers. Your hand started running on a blank paper which you didn't even know what you were writing "why would I!?" You asked as your fingers filled first column of the paper.

"For him, for his life" Your wide eyes averted at Jimin's face. His face wore a serious expression.

"What do you think, why he suddenly approached to marry you!?" he asked holding you with his sharp gaze.

Why did he marry....... Of course to take revenge. Your eyes flickered breaking the contact with jimin's eyes.

"Jackson" he said and your heart gave lurch. Gulping, you snapped your frighten eyes to him.

"J..jackson" you stuttered, cold sweat soaking your back.

"What do you know about him?" you asked in shaky rough voice.

Your breathing hitched while your heart leaping in your chest.

"That you are a puppet to him and Taehyung married just to free you from all the pain Jackson was giving you."

You gasped at his sentence and the pen in your hand slipped on the paper. It couldn't possible... Your breathing got stuck as your whole body stiffened at the place and you raised your head to looked at him whose gaze was still glued at you.

"And those people that shoot Taehyung wanted to kill you. You were their target not Taehyung" Jimin blurted in anger peering at you while Your hand slipped on the chair from desk and your face became blank.

"How did he get to know?" you mumbled, your breathing shallow.

"From The doctor who checked you the day you fainted on the farm house" you just became a frozen being for a while until jimin phone rang and just as he sticked his phone to his ear. He suddenly stride out of the study room.
