This party is amazing and everyone seems to be having fun. The group is seated at a round table and I have Wanye on my right and Ivan on my left. Tiffany's family is saying speeches while she sits on a chair that looks a lot like a thrown.
"Where is Steven?" Ivan leans into my shoulder and whispers to me.
Steven is my least favourite topic. I'm not heart broken or still hung up on him. But because I just wanted to move on and it seems like the people around me, just keep holding onto him.
"He wasn't invited," I say with simplicity and hope the conversation is done with.
"Why not?" This time it's Wanye asking me and I didn't know about that he knew about Steven. It would make my life a whole lot easier and I wanted to keep that part as far away from Wayne as I possibly can.
I shrug at him and turn my attention to back the stage. But Ivan, has other plans. "Does he know that you are here?" I don't think I've ever turned my head so fast to look at someone as if they have completely lost their minds.
"Why would he need to know where I am? Ivan you do know that Steven and I are not together anymore. I am well past that," I whisper to Ivan and he looks past me at Wayne. I look at Wayne and his eyes are on mine. He just nods and turns to look at the stage. I look back at Ivan and slap his shoulder. He chuckles and looks at Tiff.

Speeches are over and food as been served. The group is having a light hearted conversation about Tiffany's reaction when she walked through the door.
"She didn't want to come. I told her that I left my shoes here the last time we were in this building," Daphne says about getting Tiff to the party with ruining the surprise.
"Didn't you fecth those shoes like 6 months ago," Noel reminds us and we laugh at Daphne remembering the one time she left her shoes after her parents anniversary party that was hosted here.
After eating, we move to a lounging area and continue talking. Wanye and I are sitting in front of each other and talking about random things. We are rudely interpreted by Monica, who decides to sit on my lap and face Wanye. I already know that this girl is up to no good but my curiosity is enough for me to want to watch and see what happens next.
"You guys look so nice today," Monica says. Wanye says thank you but I keep quiet because she's surely not talking to me with her back in my face.
"Oh Mackenize, I found face wash that I know will work wonders on," and that was my cue to push her off. I am not subconscious about my skin. It is not the clearest 'glass skin' but it never made me feel a way. What made me push her off was the misdirected disrespect and her effort to embarrass me. I don't want to play.
Getting up, I walk to the back door that leads to a massive yard. Which to my understanding is used for out door events. " Hey, can we hung out here for a little, I'm feeling slightly crowded," Wayne says from behind me and I can feel his hand on my back. There's goosebumps and I kinda like it.
I nod and we walk around the yard. "You know, you didn't answer my question," Wayne asks and I look up at him.
