"Okay, I need to get back to work. Thank you Wayne for coming," Raven shakes Wanye hand as she gets up. She kisses my cheek. "I'll call you later, you guys enjoy your little date," and she leaves Wanye and I alone.
So far this is not what I was envisioning for today. The Steven conversation threw me through a loop and now I'm trying to silence the part of me that's saying I will be better off without Wanye.
"She's definitely your friend," Wanye says, laughing while we watch Raven walk out the cafeteria.
"What's that suppose to mean?" I turn my seat to directly face him.
"You're both crazy," Wayne responses and also turns towards me. He leans toward and touches my knees with his finger tips. This is making me blush and I can't help me myself, I lean forward as well.
"I'm not crazy, you've just never met anyone like me," I said softly.
"That and you're crazy," he says and smiles at me and maintains eye contact. We are in a room with other people and this is intense.
"There's a place I want us to go to. You'll drive, my car is already there" I pull back a little, so the situation doesn't get out of hand. He nods and gets up, then pulls my chair out. I smile up at him and say thank you. If he kissed me, I'm not sure what my next reaction would be.
"I'm starting to think you don't like driving," Wanye has his hand on my back as I lead the way out of the building.
"No, I don't. I also really like your car, so win win," I wink at him.
It's true. I got my driver's licence because I was tired of my mom dropping me off and picking me up before I was ready. I could walk to school if I absolutely wanted to but I don't.

"Are you ready to tell me why I didn't get to see you today?" Wanye asks when we get to the door.
"You're seeing me now," I smile at him as the valet guy pulls up with the car.
"I meant at school, you missed practice too," Wayne opens the door for me.
I stand still in my spot to irritate him. "Awww, did you miss me?" I have a coy smile on my face and he laughs at me.
"I can't tell you, you'll 'chocolate blush'," he says
I can't believe he remembered that. "I thought I was caramel,"
"Just get into the car Mackenzie," he helps me up and shuts the door once I'm sitting down.
As he walks around the car, I put the location into his navigation system and think that I should just tell him where I was for most of the day. "I had an internship interview. I want to be a lawyer. So I figured I'll spend the summer at a law firm to see if it's something I'm really into or just because I watched too much Suits," I don't think I've said this out loud to anyone, other than my mom and sister. I know what I want to do but I'm anxious. I'm an over thinker and this is where my thoughts brought me.
He nods, "So you want to be Harvey Spectre?" I am surprised he knows what I'm talking about.
"Some days it fluctuates between Donna and Jessica," I don't know if I'm leader or follower. If I am the dominant type or the one to serve someone else.
