"Sniffing me out, I see" I said sarcastically, though him being the crown prince, I doubted that was the best idea.

"That's not why I am here..."

"Oh, you're here because you're curious about the food and if it's really worth the five stars. Am I right or am I right?"

He sighed, while Saeed Hilal stood idly as we both gave each other unfriendly looks.

"I didn't come here to argue with you. I came because I am legitly curious about your restaurant."

"That's just an excuse. You came here because you wanted to check out my every move to see if I am truly connected to..."

"I'll just go sit out there so you two can argue in private" said Saeed Hilal, looking quite uncomfortable.

The guy had the right idea because my relationship with Hamdan was more sibling than friendship-like. Which meant we would likely get into arguments from time to time like all siblings.

"I didn't come here to see if you were connected to the vigilantes."

"We've had this restaurant open for close to a year and you've known about it all along. Now, you're suddenly interested in the food? After you accused me of being involved with the vigilantes?"

He lowered his head a bit, then darted his big eyes at me.

"I am here because I am worried about you. But I was also curious about the restaurant."

"It's not gonna fly with me. It's too much of a coincidence after the argument we got into last night."

"You also never came home and I knew you were here since you did mention you'd be staying at the restaurant" he stopped for a nanosecond. "You're like a brother to me, you always have and to Rashid, Maryam, Ahmed, Maktoum, and Futtaim. I simply just want what's best for you. And I want to protect you too."

            "Hamdan..."

"Hamdan?" he raised one of his thick eyebrows. "What happened to Fazza or Faz?"

"You're not exactly my favorite person at the moment, so we'll just stick to your legal name" I coldly said. "As opposed to terms or names of affection."

He looked almost sad but was clearly trying to hide it because I was good at being cold and distant when people screwed me to pieces. Come to think of it, so did he and like me, he especially hated it when people lied to him. Except, I was also lying to him about my activities and my affiliation with the vigilantes – but unfortunately it was a necessary lie.

It wasn't exactly a white lie but not a malicious one either. It was a lie that was neither black nor white but that was in shades of grays. Simply put, it was a necessary lie I had to uphold for both mines, Hamdan's, and my team's safety.
