Chapter 26: Trapped

I opened a breach to ensure everyone got to safety. The Al Maktoums all jumped in, with the exception of me, Fazza, and Rashid. Fazza was simply in shock while we tried to figure out the game plan.

Then as we were about to jump into the breach, it was the Alama-X brothers. They were hella pissed and I knew what they were going to try and do.

"You three are not going anywhere!" said Khaled-X.

"Watch us!" I grabbed an arrow containing a sonic device attached that mimicked my brother's and Laurel's cries.

I shot it at the ground, both laughing because to them, I had missed my mark. Only, they had no idea.

"I think you missed!"

"Did I?!" I smirked.

The moment the arrow started to beep, it worried them and suddenly blew out a nasty sound wave that even I had to cover my ears, as did Fazza and Rashid. It, however, debilitated the Alama-X bros so badly, that they passed out.

"Whoa, what was that?!" Rashid asked, looking at the two morons that were down for the count.

"It's a sonic arrow. It mimics Dawoud's and Laurel's cry."

"And Laurel is also a vigilante, I'm assuming?!" Fazza asked in a smug tone.

"Yes, she is!" I gave him an angry response. "We need to go. The whammy I gave them will not last!"

I grabbed the arrow, lifted my hand to open the breach again, and in it, we went. As we arrived at the Al Maktoums' other safe house, everyone was relieved to see us alive and well.

"What happened?" asked Jack.

"It was Khaled and Louai Alama!"

"Those two are two of the New Reichsmen's deadliest assassins!" said Jack.

"Yeah, I can tell. But they lack intelligence!" I said.

"Given what just happened, I think it's best you three left" said Sheikha Hind.

"But what about you guys?" asked Rashid, concerned for his family.

"We'll be okay. You have to stop your brother before he does to Earth-Prime what the New Reich has done to our earth. And we both know he's gonna try and do exactly that."

Rashid was conflicted. He had come to us for help and now he was facing the possibility that his family was likely now facing imminent danger.

My mom walked in with Clark. Now, I knew why she had suddenly disappeared.

"Where were you?" I asked.

"I had to escape and Clark sped and flew me away to make sure that I was not discovered because I want to save my son, your brother!"

"Is that an extrapolator?"

"Yes, Cisco Ramon made it for me" my mom sighed.

"Please, you all need to leave!" Mohammed urged. "This threat is far from over. It's too late for our earth but you can still save your world before these bastards do to it what it did to ours!"

Rashid hugged his parents and sisters. Latifah was finally back home, safe, though the whereabouts of my sister on Earth-Prime were still unknown.

He even hugged Jack/Jester, his brother-in-law.

"Stay safe and if you need help, we're just a breach away" said Jack.
