Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum is the Crown Prince of Dubai, the son of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum bin Juma Al Maktoum, brother of Maryam, Futtaim, Ahmed, Maktoum, and the late Rashid.
He is an endurance champ and has won several endurance races. He is also a poet and uses the penname Fazza - of which he is affectionately also referred to by his loved ones.
Later, he Learns of the existence of vigilantes and like his father, he is heavily opposed to their existence and helps in creating a bill to be signed into law to criminalize them in order to limit their activities. As a result of his views on vigilantism, he is put at odds with one of his best friends, Sakher, who has a different view on their activities - unbeknownst to Hamdan that he is a vigilante himself.
After he learns of the danger and the existence of Earth-X, the state it is in, and the New Reich gaining ability to travel to other earths, he begins to realize that vigilantes may play a much more important role in protecting the citizens of Dubai.
Is known to be kindhearted and loving and cares deeply for his siblings and his friends.
Original Multiverse
At some point in the original multiverse, on Earth-1, he found out about Sakher being a vigilante.
Though Dawoud initially believed it had been he who had sentenced his brother to be executed for his activities as a vigilante, it was later learned it was his Earth-X doppelgänger who had done it.
It is unknown what really happened to him after his doppelgänger usurped his place as right before Sakher was about to be executed, a wave of antimatter obliterated the entire Earth-1 universe, erasing it from existence.
Anti-Monitor Crisis
Hamdan, along with the rest of Earth-1, was killed in an antimatter wave during the Anti-Monitor Crisis. However, he was subsequently resurrected on Earth-Prime.
New Multiverse
Hamdan's life remains fundamentally unchanged following the Crisis.
After learning about Sakher and his status as a vigilante, he feels betrayed but eventually understands the reasons behind why he never told him.
Similarly, like in the original multiverse, his Earth-X doppelgänger usurped his place. Sakher was able to see that his behavior did not correlate with his personality, and started to suspect it was his doppelgänger from Earth-X. He also saw the scar on the right side of his abdomen that Rashid had inflicted on him while battling one another, the mark that would differentiate him from his Earth-Prime version.
